The art is good, you're sticking to an aesthetic very well and I dig the palette. Impact effects, camera motion, time slow-down on a hit, it all works together well to add juice to it all. If I try to nitpick so I can have something critical to say, it's that the font can be a little hard to make out at times. All in all great work!
this is great game i think i'll play again occasionally!
Great Entry!

Love the art.
This would be a great rogue-like game.

@cappa-games Thanks! I definitely have plans in the future to update it. I looked up Octogeddon gameplay, I can see how it reminds you of it. Looks really cool!
@jiri-hysek Thank you! I'm surprised, I didn't even think wave 14 was possible!
@seltzerfish Sadly, music and sound effects are the only thing I didn't make, I don't have the time or skills for that, but at least I know I made a good choice in it, thank you!
Also maybe I just suck but I feel like the plants die too easily and I lose a lot of my plants. Obviously mouse aiming would make the game easier, and maybe plants don't need to be buffed then, because I'll be able to more easily defend them. Maybe improve the way to defend them/strategically place them (I know there are rocks and stuff).
Good job!
@qooorti Yea, I've been looking into mouse-aiming for the future. More automation plants I'd love, too. Thanks for the feedback!
I very much appreciate the little detail that you don't let me purchase a plant that doesn't stack when I already have one. You made it clear with the description, but then not letting me purchase it anyway was icing on the UX cake.
I think I hurt my chances by not fully understanding what each plant did the first few rounds, and made a pretty poor setup. But as it became clear what each one does, the gameplay became very interesting and revealed strategic choices, love it. The beams reflecting onto a nearby enemy is always a great mechanic, and I'm impressed how well you got all the upgrades interacting with each other. Great job!
The interface is all really intuitive without having to read any instructions too, which can be a struggle even for seemingly simple games. Well done all around!
The only thing I would have wanted changed would be stacking all the plants that didn't. Even the rock could be something like +def to adjacent plants maybe xD
@rohanmoon That means a lot! I've been thinking of updating it a decent amount and after voting period putting it up with a very cheap price on Steam.
@treenut Thank you! Yea, I agree, I really want a level of automation later on, but I think automation and the gun laser can be balanced a little better so it doesn't become entirely useless to use properly.

I really like the tower defence and the auto battler combo (I have also tried it, but yours is better)!
Some small feedback!
- Easier to read descriptions, sometimes the font and the layour gets in the way of clarity!
- Freeze a seed so you can buy it next round
