[raw]
made by eroxxie for Ludum Dare 52 (JAM)

A point-and-click game about harvesting herbs, berries and fruits from your yard outside your own potion factory and combine these to brew the most potent potions and remedies your customers are ordering!

Side note

This game is semi-completed, there is no win or lose conditions, just relax and make some potions in your own pace! Also can be a bit unstable at times...enjoy!

It is a really cool game! I am amazed you accomplished this in only 2 days. I had a similar idea but did not implemented it because it seemed really difficult to accomplish in only 48 hours.

I can see that you wrote "This game is semi-completed, there is no win or lose conditions" but I do not really think your game needs it. Just taking orders, preparing potions and growing crops is fun enough.

Thanks!

This is neat! I played a bit of it and thought it would be really interesting to mix this with a paper's please style of story where you might get suspicious orders like for poison etc and make moral decisions on your orders. Definitely hard to hit that kind of scope for a jam game, but just what came to mind when I first got a request for a love potion and sent the wrong thing by accident. I liked how on the farm there was a potion shop you could click on to return to the crafting while still keeping the quick buttons on the top, I enjoy having both options for traversal and would love to see that expanded.

The unique fruits were a nice touch.
The harvesting felt a bit shoehorned in and not necessary for the game, but that's how it goes with theme based development.
Also had a lot of fun reading the fruit lore.

@pikkufighter Thank you for your feedback! I agree that the harvest theme becomes more of a side thing, but this was the first good idea that came in mind and if i had more time i would add more to it!

I like the ingredient graphics and descriptions.

Didn't realize you got ingredients from a garden, thought it was an auction/market with the plots being counters/stands.

The big R of recipe book made me think pressing R would open it up.

But speaking of recipe book, just having a preset one and not really needing to think about what ingredients to add was a bit disappointing I had slight hope you'd have done something like I tried doing for LD37 but even better than my [terrible attempt](https://mauno.itch.io/alchemist-slave) at making picking ingredients to use in a potion interesting.

I love the concept. I always enjoyed playing these management games. I think if you add a bit more challenge, like knowing what crops to plant or adding timers for each orders, it would be even better.
Nice job!

The amount of ingredients and potions is impressive, not to mention all the unique sprite art! The nostalgia hit me pretty hard, as I'm a Va11-Hall-A fan. Really great work especially given the short time limit!

I'm impressed that you managed to do so much in such a short time! Great visual effects and brilliant music. Haven't you perhaps thought about continuing to work on the game in the future? I would love to watch its development
