Description

Welcome to "The Summoner's Business," where the mystical arts meet entrepreneurial spirit in a symphony of elemental conjuring. In this realm, you are not merely a practitioner of the arcane, but a craftsperson of the occult, a supplier of spirits, a mogul in the market of mysticism. The Essence of the Craft:

Your workshop is a crucible of creation, where elements are bound and spirits are shaped. Here, neutral heads and bodies are mere canvases awaiting your touch, ready to be infused with elemental essences or aligned with the forces of light and shadow. As a master of this art, your task is to mold these materials into beings of power, fulfilling the diverse requests of a clientele that spans the very fabric of the world. The Enterprise of Enchantment:

In "The Summoner's Business," each order is a contract, each summoning a transaction. You are the fulcrum upon which the great balance of supply and demand teeters. From the corners of the earth, your clients' requests are as varied as the demons you craft, each order a puzzle of properties and a challenge to your skill and speed.Menu.png

Mastery of the Summoning Craft

Learn the essentials of your trade with this quick guide on gameplay mechanics. 1.png

Essential Controls

Move Around: Navigate your workshop using the WASD keys. Conjure Materials: Summon the components for your creations with a press of the Spacebar. Interact With Elements: Pick up or place down materials using the Left Ctrl key.

Crafting Entities

Start with a neutral head and neutral body from the supplies. At the Crafting Stations, transform these neutral items into enchanted heads and elementally-aligned bodies using Spacebar and the directional arrows to complete magical sequences.

Finalizing Your Creation

Combine the enchanted components by placing the head onto the body on the ground. Transport the joined pieces to the Final Table, and through a final sequence, give life to a ghost or devil.

Launch Your Mystical Trade

In your hands, the ancient pentagram is a site of powerful commerce. Here, you will conjure protective ghosts and cunning devils, each carefully crafted to meet the unique specifications of those who seek your services.

Builds

Unless stated otherwise, the builds are targeting Win x86-64 platform.

🎮 I'm teaming up with @Petr-vejchoda, but this time, our start was delayed because I'm still working on my thesis. Despite the late kickoff, we're eager to contribute and see what we can create under the wire. It's full focus from here on out. Let's get creative! 😄

Good game, it took me a while to understand how I was supposed to interact with the pillars even after consulting the webpage to look up the controlls. But after I got the controlls it played really well.
Also just a personal preference, I would just zip the files and not use the .rar format.

I really enjoyed this game! I echo the sentiment of the game taking some bit to understand but once it click you can get into a really good rhythm which is very satisfying. My only gripe is the controls are a little weird. My best guess as to why it was space and ctrl was so that you had more of you fingers available for WASD. I would recommend maybe shift since it's a little easier to hit than ctrl, but it's just a minor thing. I was playing for a good 15-20 minutes and my hand started to cramp from hitting ctrl. Overall y'all did a great job, congrats!

Really nice, after being confused for a bit it actually made some sense, at first i thought the | thingies were some currency instead of a divider. The controls work very well and the atmosphere is superb.

Confusing to begin with (I skipped the tutorial), but very interesting game mechanics. Good work!

It took a lot of time to understand the controls, but once I got there the game was quite fun, I think with multiplayer it would make a very cool party game! The game mechanics are interesting, and challenging. I would love to see an update with some music and sound effects!
