Upd. Due to testing and comments we decide to fix and polish our masterpeace.

So here are the update and its changes: - fixed shadows - fixed some materials - fixed & balanced spawn rate - completed "grocery stores" (as walking seemed pointless) - balanced lighting (to match ambience) - added rain (to match ambience) - interface slightly changed - small misc changes

A nice endless runner! I like how the world is curved like a globe, and different types of game objects (e.g. fire hydrants and barriers) randomly generate in their own locations (e.g. sidewalks, roads) - it gives the world more detail than if everything was entirely random.
I'd have tried to incorporate the theme a little more (maybe you need to interact with mailboxes along the way?), and especially put some music under it! That would add a lot.

I like the art style of the game, the curvature effect works really well with the endless runner gameplay. I did have a hard time figuring out why I was gaining points, as it seemed to be random. Re-reading the game page informs me that it's because you're delivering food to stores. I think clarifying what the player is doing that is causing them to gain points in the game itself would be a good improvement. Still, a very solid game! Great work.

What a nice little endless runner! I had lots of fun. The visuals are fantastic and the art style really matches well. It must have been fun to put all those assets together and see them turn into a town!

Also; this has got to be the worst traffic jam ever to appear in a videogame. 😆

One thing I didn't understand is what was happening to make my score go up. It seemed random. Was it?

10/10 would sprint endlessly to deliver thing to place again.

Was fun to discover that the obstacles have physics. I liked the pyramids on the side, the world curving was a nice touch too

Strange that nobody mentioned how great the mood of the game is. I love rain. Felt solitude and calmness. Pretty rare feelings for an endless runner!

The atmosphere is indeed great ! I loved the ambient track.

I wish there was a bit more variation as the obstacles and environment felt rather repetitive. Maybe making levels by hand could help give it a more interesting side.

This said it was very relaxing to not have to try hard and just casually play.

The controls were a bit too fast though, it made being precise very hard, in several cases where it was possible to go between object I couldn't line it up because even the shortest tap made me move a lot.

I also thought the score felt way too random, I think having some input from the player or some consequence to delivering stuff could improve that.

A few ideas :
- say you're delivering some food but you have a limited quantity so you have to stop by warehouses to restock
- maybe stores have power ups or a varying amount of money they give you in exchange and you can choose not to deliver, so there's a choice to deliver now or wait for a potential better deal down the road.

I guess it depends on how relaxing you want to keep it.

What a calming game, great job !

A truly creative take on this theme! I love voxel games and this really hits home for me. You even somehow made the default font fit, good job and well played!

It's a chilling game where you endlessly run. Execution was not bad at all - and I've enjoyed it. It was always possible to continue running.

It could use a bit more bright colors, and also a bit more tolerance when running over small/fallen obstacles.

Overall, a good entry!
