It's our first game jam together and we had a lot of fun experimenting with this concept! Any and all feedback is really appreciated. The backrooms was a perfect setting to experiment with limited space. We're interested in expanding this drawing concept further if we can!

The concept is really well thinked and match perfectly with the theme. I love how dynamic is the gameplay, the pressure made by the creatures, the fact that I completely forgot the draw because of the stress...
And all of this is really well served by the music / sound design and the graphics. My favorite so far <3
I wish I had some helpful suggestions, I thought sometimes it's hard to remember the combination pattern once you see it, because you're running away from enemies. But I think that's part of the challenge, and sometimes I even ran back to remember it. Also later, I would tag it on the ground in spray paint so I wouldn't have to go all the way back haha. Kind of like it that way.
Loved everything but the main menu. The chromatic aberration was way to much to look at.
Very solid ensemble, works perfectly as a whole and leaves you with room to draw on the floor at the end ^^
Wanted to also give a huge thumbs up for the game design, SFX timing really got me immersed and balancing remembering the code while also being stressed from monsters had me engaged from start to finish
I really loved the art style, looks beautiful! As well as UI and sound design. And ofc this paint idea is interesting for gameplay. I maaaaaybe would like to see paint mechanics more integrated into overall narrative (like why there are exact places to paint), but that's because I'm already looking at this as a full-fledged game project and not a jam entry. It's crazy how you managed to make it all in just 3 days) Really incredible work.
The PC is adorable and even has eight directions to walk ...... Amazing. When I realized I could use my mouse to spray paint on the ground, I pulled out my digital pad and tried to paint something else on it. Honestly, it's really fun to be able to do that kind of thing in a horror game.
Overall, very fun game!
However, the camera movements were quite jarring and nauseating. Maybe it would have been better to smooth its movement instead of making it follow the character tile by tile.
The Paint mechanic is innovative and fun ! The monster music was also really great : it gave me chills when it kicked in in the middle of a dark hallway...
A solid entry, congratulation !
i wish i could watch someone playing it until the very end, i'm really curious to see what could have happened next..
Good job!
