Fun! I really appreciated the auto target, unfortunately getting it to turn on is what got me killed.

Super cool and innovative take on the theme, i have never seen a game where the screen moves with you, love it! The controls and locking the camera on enemies works really well with the moving screen too.

Sometimes the camera was still stuck and enemies were outside of my visible screen so I couldnt get to them, happened to me multiple times, but still very great game.

This is **GREAT**! What an awesome and innovative idea that fits the theme perfectly. Additionally to that, it's also just a really nice minimalistic game. Thank you for showing me something I've never seen before!

Whoah you blew me away with this one!
I love the Idea, it immediatly gives me Desktop Goose (https://samperson.itch.io/desktop-goose) vibes, in the way you interact with the desktop!
The game simple, but feels so super polished! I legit can't give any critique on this as this seems just too good to me.
Chapeau! Well done, I love this game.
I'd love to see an expanded iteration on this one..
I'd immediatly think about additional "desktop widgets" flying around at certain spots on the desktop to display things like stats or something.. man.
I love this game, good job!

Wow, a trick that's actually totally fresh! Surprisingly it ran fine on Linux (using WINE) even with the unusual take on the game window. Super cool gimmick, and good use of simple graphics: since it _is_ a pretty small window, anything fancier would've made it hard to see stuff. The death and hit animations contribute a lot. It is quite difficult to aim, feeling a lot like a really classic arcade game but with some modern twists.

Honestly I small little games like this¹ that do something different are what I love about game jams.

¹This one is a lot smaller than most, visually speaking. Very creative take on the theme.

I'm very impressed. How did you manage to create this effect of the window moving on you screen?
My fav' game so far.

Really cool concept, would love for it to be taken further, snappier movement (at least take larger screen res into account!) and more enemies to play with!

Thank you all for your kind comments!

@nicholaspfo Yeah, stuck camera with no enemies in sight is a really nasty bug I'm struggling to pinpoint. I had to implement a debug log for this but haven't found the cause yet :disappointed:

@fendri I'm using LÖVE engine and it has function to set up window position on the screen, so moving windown was an easy part. The hard part is that on changing window size engine just creates new window with new size and it doesn't happen immediately so it looks like game closes and restarts. Need to investigate it further.

@veridis Now I see it can be slow at bigger monitors. I've tested it on 1080p and smaller screens and ballanced speed and window size around them. I'm thinking of adding an option before start to set up "active space" where all action happens.

Very polished game! Games with changing window size always are fun, but this takes it even further! The autolock and enemy designs are both fun implementations of some really unique ideas. Though personally, sometimes I wish I could aim manually… The visuals are very consistent and smooth as well! Definitely the best interpretation of the theme I’ve seen so far! Great entry!

Very nice game! Somehow felt polished, despite the simple graphics.

I also got my camera stuck around an empty point, with no enemies in sight.

Now this is what an innovative game means, wouldnt be surprised if this gets number 1 spot in innovation for this game jam. Concept is the best one ive rated so far. This was incredible. I really think yuo should go forward with this game and add more features, if there are too many bugs with the window movement aspect of it just make it a full screen game with an emulated screen which doesnt work but gives the same effect and challenge.

Amazing mechanism! I've thought about the *Limited Play Space* but your implementation and design is much more interesting! It even remind me the time I played NieR!

Concise game but precisely catch the theme, well done.

btw I died at wave 4 XD

Very delicate and clever interpretation on the theme. Having so much fun playing this. But sometimes the anchor is out of the screen so get stuck and have to restart.

hey! we have the same gimmick, and we're both space themed! you utilized the window moving really well, the graphics are nice and simple and give that retro kinda feel. Could use some music but other than that it's one of the best games I've played!

Really cool concept. I enjoyed this alot. Very innovative and alot of fun.
The only thing I would wish is to play more but level 6 just seems impossible, if you get stuck in an area because of auto-target it seems to be instant death with the line enemy.

This was a cool game with a cool mechanic. I got obliterated. I wish the window was a bit bigger. I understand that is a main mechanic but its just a bit hard to see anything (or maybe my eyes are just bad lol)

Wow the concept is so cool !! You really used the theme in a clever way !

Sadly my game often locked on already dead ennemies, which mean I wasn't able to play it for long each time :(

It was fun nevertheless, the graphics were simple yet super effective. the sound choices were also right on point.
Good job !

This is great! An honestly ingenious concept. The overall neon aesthetic is great. My only issue is that there seems to be a major difficulty spike at level 5, the previous waves are easy but that one wiped me out. Sounds like it gets even harder at Level 6, too. Overall, though, a fantastic idea. Well done!
