As for the experience, most of the time it was, as mao said, surprisingly smooth, but every once in a while it would hitch for seemingly no reason. That meant completing the spike jumps was more difficult than intended I think.
5/5 for innovation! I would like to see this expanded with more crazy browser elements.
I agree with npckc, this is definitely the coolest interpretation I've seen so far!
Also, it's funny since I guess my game is technically 4D and my favorite so far (yours) is 1D. Regardless, I am seriously impressed with the game. Nice work!
Congratulations!
Playing it on Firefox (on Windows) has ~5 second pauses a few times a minute, so I switched to Edge which ran fine. Probably something wrong with how Firefox updates the address bar.
We still don't know how you did this. This game was so innovative!
Here's the VOD with Timestamps so you can click to your game!

The moment the narrator hints that your character couldn't fit on the screen and you notice the game is actually in the URL bar was actually a bit magical. Subverting expectations in the best way possible.
Writing was top notch. Sometimes I felt like he was reading my mind!
Super clever and interesting concept presented perfectly!
You should be really proud of that!
Great submission!

It's just brilliant
The concept as I said was good, but the "your character doesn't fit" when you are writing giant green text felt like not the best reason to be in the address bar!
The dialogue is goofy, and I like how it introduces mechanics with a bit of humor. That being said, the gameplay is a bit... stale? Since I'm already familiar with the gimmick of a game in the search bar, let's talk about the other aspects of the game. This is a platformer where you grab things and carry them one at a time back to the starting point. I completely recognize the difficulty in making a game in the search bar, even more so designing the gameplay, but I feel like the medium of "make the game in the search bar" holds this back. If it was a jam dedicated exclusively to games in the searchbar, this would absolutely stand out at the top. The gameplay is a bit weak, but the presentation is great.
With the negatives aside, allow me to just gush about this, because it *is* cool. (I also appreciate telling the players to play in incognito, so it doesn't flood their history.) The mechanics that you were able to implement in a searchbar game is impressive. The platforming feels tight, the dash mechanic has weight- it's a very well made platformer, even if all the levels are lacking a Y-axis. The limitations of a searchbar game are insane, and you absolutely made the best of it. Bravo!
It's also really well executed. Clear use of ascii symbols, and the jumping and dashing just feels like a regular game. Also the way the browser talks to you. Really good, and totally deserved high ratings!

Wait, holy *** , you did this with Construct? Holy moley, bonus points!
