I actually reset the game on day 6 because i thought the black screen of the dream was a bug since I could hear my footsteps while walking in the dream, haha. It's a really scary jumpscare the first time I saw it! Wasn't expecting horror at all. The dream sequences spiced things up but it really did start to feel like I had to endure the chore of being as bored as the character. I loved the overall story of the world though and the mystery of what the Square experiment really was. Wish he could have gone to Dubai!!! Overall nice job!

That was interesting. I did my tasks every day and (spoiler) died on day 18, not sure if there are different outcomes and also not entirely sure what the point was to be honest. Just glad the guy didn't end up wasting his 9000,- on going to Dubai.

Hmm... more of an experience than a game. And kind of a weird experience at that. I found myself wondering whether I should continue playing and prolong this person's agony or just give up for them.

Interesting take on the limited space theme. Mood was there for sure. I have to agree with @raaph , glad he didn't get to waste 9k on Dubai. Would be nice to have some alternate ending to the story, where maybe he does go through the whole month :slight_smile: .

What an interesting experience that was :). I will admit, every time the actions were done (when it fades to black) I was waiting for some kind of jumpscare XD didn't happen though so I was tense throughout. There seemed to be a strange delay when going to sleep an seeing the dream, at first I thought the game was broken until I sat there for a while - then it blew out my ear drums XD!

A wonderful little story about isolation, repetition, and the existential dread of existence through boredom.

Sorry I didn't finish the game. It's not my type and it takes too long every day. I can tell you are trying to tell a game. If the game contains more gameplay I would be happy to finish the game.

Unfortunately, people are often not very patient when playing and reviewing LD jam games, so maybe what could keep them "motivated" would be a sort of progressive thing? But at the same time this game makes totally sense to just keep us a bit bored, and then... things happen!

So yeah for me it's a strong entry!

The idea is interesting, could have been fun to have hallucination like the room change in size or objects not being in the same places or reversed controls, the nightmare is used too many times, but the idea of having a loop and doing the same things is interesting as any change become scary or weird, like the room getting darker, and it makes the player question whether it was the same or not the day before. No bug found, so, good job !

Interesting concept. With some more work this could be more scary (you puke out your food, shake so much you can't wash up anymore and features like that). Mood was good, sounds sadly a bit too repetitive for my liking, pace was a bit slow (wasn't sure what I'm doing until the actual stuff happened). Bit more dynamic content would have added a lot to this, but still a good idea with potential to make it great.

Damn, I really thought there would be a way to get to 30 days and get this square dude to Dubai. I liked it, but would like to see a post-jam version with some of the issues ironed out (for example the "nightmare" sequences took a very long time to work for me). Great effort :smile:
