Claustrophobia by LDJam user 372525
This is my first jam! It was very difficult, but very fun. I was glad to have this experience, but the most invaluable thing is your ratings and comments. I really look forward to feedback.
Why don't these guys look at the sign "The elevator is not working!" Save inattentive passengers!
Play as a mechanic and free the people stuck in the elevator.
To open the door, use the diagram (it opens with a "SCHEME"/"DIAGRAM" button).
Set up all the buttons as in the diagram and the door will open.
*All game resources were created by me alone from scratch
HAVE FUN!
Update(Claustrophobia_0.1): 1. Fixed freezing bug at level 8. 2. UI elements adapted to any screen size, low-quality sprites removed 3. Adaptive colors of the main elements for colorblind people: N, T - normal, tritanopia P, D - protanopia, deuteranopia U - universal.
Update(Claustrophobia_0.2): 1. The door open button only works once 2. The numbers on the top panel work correctly again 3. The transition to the next level occurs after 4 door openings

this was really great but can you make the collision boxes (area for your mouse to click on) a little bigger? some of the things were a bit hard to click on or missed or something.
Your 3D models cracked me up in the best possible way. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to play, though. The number of people I killed due to my incompetence is... Staggering.
Really fun and I would definitely come back for an updated version.
Little Unity tips :
- I played full screen and the UI was really small on my big chad screen. You can go to you Canvas and set Scaling to "Scale with screen size" instead of "Constant pixel size"
- Some of your UI elements have standard Unity assets which are utterly ugly (it's pixelated af, and have a sidewalk grey color). You can set the sprite to "none" and it will display a nice white square and change it's color. It's not like it was a pretty asset, but cost nothing, takes no time, and is often prettier.
Great job !
In the new version Claustrophobia_0.1, major bugs have been fixed.
1. Now the UI elements look neat and adjust to the size of your screen.
2. No more freezes at level 8.
3. The ability to select the color of buttons has been added to the main menu, which could be a problem for people with color blindness.
If you have time, test the game and let me know if anything goes wrong.
edit: i tried to recreate it and it looks like it only does this when going between levels 7 and 8
bug report: the number bar is always set to 1 in the blueprints and leaving it blank without clicking any on the actual number row still lets you beat each level
Thanks for pointing out the errors. They were all pretty stupid actually, so I quickly fixed it. Please check it if you can. I also changed the leveling condition to allow for a smoother increase in difficulty. Let me know if this is too easy (level increases every 4 doors you open)
It's simple and effective. I went to level 28 before getting a game over (I really didn't wanted to redo it all to top my score though).
The visuals are simple but does the works nicely. I honestly clicked on the game because of the miniature looking funny lol. I really appreciate that the panic button actually "bump" with the audio, that's a nice touch. I guess some variety in the colors of the passengers would have been nice but eh, it's fine how it is too.
My only complaint is that it never introduce more mecanics, just more of the sames one. You should consider it next time you try that kind of game.
Keep up the good work
Maybe it would have been fun to get more "puzzle" to play with
