Very cool. Insane game. I past a lot of time to optimize my defense. It's a simple concept but it's clear, no tuto needed. Very good job

Tough game! Hard to decide how to distribute building to gain more power or surviving more early on.

Overall a cool idea, although I found it a little difficult. Could just be a skill issue

The idea is really cool! Maybe the enemies could come more slowly at the beginnning and in waves so we could plan better and learn better. Kind of hard to get into at first.

I loved it. The art is incredible and the concept is pretty creative. It was pretty intuitive to play, though it might be nice to get more of an indication on the pattern of the infection. In my first playthrough I was a bit irritated by that. Overall a pretty good game!

Love it! One suggestion: provide the player with some sort of indication signaling where the enemies will come from.

Thank you guys for the kind words so far!

Here's a tip for people who want to get further. Put some long-range defenders like Antibiotics in the middle along with a bunch of Mitochondria units. This will get you enough money to expand. Then, try to place some Mitosis units near the closing-in board to make way for an outward-facing base protected by close-range units.

Let me know if anyone beats my score of 3612!

Had fun playing this! Got around 3500 points once. It's really hectic, which is fun once you kinda understand the game. I think that it starts off a little aggressive at the jump, and without sacrificing any of the frantic lategame it could be nice to have a minute to get my bearings, earn some currency and set up units while enemies trickle in before the flood. Especially as a first time player it can be a bit demoralizing how quickly you get overwhelmed.

A think the interface has a few small problems as well, small easy to fix things but that hurt my trust in the reliability of the controls and made the game harder to play, particularly when overwhelmed by a lot of units.

Being unable to select a unit type if you don't have enough currency feels likes a bad choice. When i'm waiting for currency to trickle in I often want to switch to the unit i plan to place down in anticipation for placing it, but since it doesn't allow me I often ended up putting down the wrong unit and wasting my money at a critical juncture.

A smidge of feedback would be nice as well for hovering/placing units. Perhaps a ghost of the unit selected so that I know with confidence what i'm about to place, and some small sounds when i select 1-6 with different pitches so I know what I have selected without looking, and another small sound when clicking that confirms or denys that a unit has been placed successfully so that in the middle of a frantic situation I waste less time in insecurity.

Either way it's good fun for something so simple. Haven't seen a tower defense with a radial layout like this.

I can't open it, it gives an error that says "your video and card drivers seem not to support the required Vulkan Version"

Now THIS was good, haha. Quite an interesting concept for a tower defense game, maybe a bit too much chaos but overall it was really fun!

Really cool, have to agree with the others that it is a really tough game. Still fun though and the concept and graphics are really great.

Wow that's pretty dynamic! :) I like little descriptions for all the defenders. It's even a bit educational and I don't usually play a lot of tower defense games so it felt pretty unique to me :) In my opinion some of the graphics might be a bit too bright/saturated, but it might be just my personal taste ^^

Really stylish and well-made game! (Might be a bit biased because I'm a fellow Godot dev. ;) )

My one and only issue with the interface is that the game does not allow you to select a tower type you don't have the DNA for - i.e. you can't choose a type, then wait to hit the trigger to build it once you have enough DNA.

Wow, that was quite a ride... or ten of them :D
Gave it my best, but couldn't get past a score of about 2300. I had a lot of fun trying to optimize the start and testing out the different towers and strategies. I think you did a good job at making all of them interesting and unique.
Was a bit annoyed by what i though of were delayed responses when clicking on towers. But now I read here that this was when you couldn't afford that category, while selecting it. That is my only critique though... enyoyed it very much :)
