Avoid Entropy and have a wonderful day! (c) DigitalConstruction corp.

Controls:

  • Movement: WASD

Dark humor and somber, I hope we never live in such a reality! Anyway, I still love the concept. I wasn't really sure what to do with the inventory management system. The fog started hurting me and it was super unclear what to do.

I like the theme and the mood and the ambiance the best, definitely hit the nail on the head. Not sure what the tiny creatures were.

This looks really good, I love the art! But I kept getting this error and couldn't play it at all?

Maybe it's because I've never played a game like this before but I found it very confusing. It looks great and the mood is set but I wasn't sure what the goal was or what was going on. I filled the grid and nothing happened.

This game was really interesting. I got invested in the story and was wondering how the tiny creatures theme would tie in then the glitches were introduced. I wish there was more lore to uncover, I really enjoyed it!

I honestly didn't understand anything + the game itself is quite slow, the visual style and music are excellent

I so wish I could understand what's going on in the game with all those colorful and very talkative glitches! The premise is interesting, you got me really hooked with all that world building in the very beginning - brief but super mysterious.
I enjoyed the visuals, the narrative, the mood and the whole inventory manipulation mechanic, but I still have no idea what I'm meant to do with all those glitches, and I just keep loosing due to resonance and entropization buildup.
I really want to try this game again, but could you write a short text description of how to properly manage the inventory, please?

@weirdbitgames Huh, that's weird. If it's here, on ldjam website, you could open this link in new tab:
https://files.jam.host/embed/$397897/35839/index.html

(that's the same as in iframe embedded in the page)

Or you can try itch.io or even downloading it as a binary. If it persists even in new tab and on itch.io, could you tell your browser version and operating system? There may be some quirks I don't know about.

Anyway, thanks for notifying us!

@stalemeat @helloworldnoob @detectivelosos we didn't manage to do the proper explanation of the mechanics, probably should've added a simple instruction of what is what and what the goal is. We will try to polish the game and improve the user experience with patches.

But the main rules are these:
1. Resonance builds up when you have more than 33% of the inventory filled with glitches of one color. So you need to balance the colors.
2. When your Resonance is high or you enter the Entropic fog, your Entropy meter will rise and upon reaching 100% you will die.
3. The goal is to get to the exit from the level with full inventory of glitches. You will be able to sell them, expand inventory and cure entropy in the intermission.

Anyway, thanks for your response and feedback! We really appreciate it.

I really liked the art in the visual novel moments! But I didn’t quite understand the meaning behind trash code —I interpreted it like creepy numbers from the show Severance. After what seemed like the 4th day, I kept dying, even though the entropy was low — is that where the story ends?

Overall, it’s cool, I really enjoyed it! From my perspective, things that could be improved include: the screen in collection mode feels a bit small.

P.S. Хорошее имя — Лисичка :)

Very cool graphics and vibe! The character moved a bit too slowly, and at first, I didn't know what the goal of the game was. Later, it became very enjoyable to play!

Hi there!
I didn't know of a game centered on inventory management before, well it's a success! The overall atmosphere is also very immersive, and I really enjoyed the narrative parts (especially the graphics). I find that we're a long way from the theme, but the rest of the game makes up for that.
I would have liked a real conclusion to the story (and not an open ending, where the mysteries are still there), but I understand that jam time is very constrained.
And THE MUSIC! Oh my, thank you so much for introducing me to these artists! They're going straight into my playlist.
Well done to the team!

@t90 Thanks that worked

Woa the music is very loud! I like the limited view/spotlight effect in-game!
I thought it was interesting how the different pieces equated to different phrases! Amazing art work too, good job!

Unique concept, haven't played anything like this previously. The movement speed was a bit slow, and the mechanics were confusing at first, but the art and the music were really nice. Solid entry.

I love how this game has a lot of style and a lot of interesting elements to it. The entropy creeping up on you and forcing you to move as well as the cryptic little things you're picking up, I'd love to learn more about this world and its characters. One thing I think could be improved is that the character could've moved a little bit faster to get things going along, and I would have appreciated a more in-depth tutorial with the inventory management. I felt like I was dropped into the scenario really fast and although immersed, it didn't really click until I had a few interactions.

Overall though, great entry!

Glad I had a chance to play your game before the ratings end. I took a look at some of your previous games as well (like “Imminent”), I like your style. The art and music in this game are beautiful. Keep up the good work. Look forward to seeing your entry for LD57.
