GOAL

Chase down the red cars and blow them up.

CONTROLS

Arrow keys / WASD to move, space bar to fire missiles.

Space to advance dialogue during intro

Update: Initial game upload was busted. The win condition did not actually work, background music was muted, missiles blew up too soon, and the car actually pulled a little to the left (literally bad alignment) instead of driving straight forward, took me a couple hours to fix that last one. Whoops! What a jam 😖 I fixed these and refined the particle effects a little more, plus added credits to the end game UI in the updated build.

Added a web build, then took it down since I was very unhappy with the game performance. Download the PC version Below ↓↓↓

Funny entry, but I managed to bug out slightly. Respawn doesn't work if you are under a bridge.

I got to say I am a bad driver. But this game is interesting!

I like that you put shortcuts everywhere around the track which feel like I'm hunting red cars but not racing with them.

I loved the controls and driving feel of the game, it felt really satisfying to nail a missile shot from a long distance. The intro also did a lot to give the game a more fun vibe!!! Great work

@sanjo Use 7-Zip to uncompress the files. (if you don't have it, I highly recommend it)
Just added a .Zip build too! Try that.

Driving is awesome. I realy dig the explosion sound with all that bass. My neighbour doesn't ;) It feels great to hit another car with a rocket and i had some cool situations in this game. Really fun. The music fits too.

Now the bad stuff ;) If you let the game run in fullscreen, please think about the people with ultrawide screens. Text and images in the intro sequence were all over the place. It is better to schow the resolution selector with 16:9 resolutions, so one can play the game windowed.
I find it funny how you placed all the tracks with all the holes in it. It adds the true LD-Feeling:tm: to the game.
Thank you for the experience. It was awesome.

@limered Thank you for the feedback! I definitely did not test in Ultrawide, I'll keep that in mind for the future.

reminds me of OFFRoad that old style racing circuit game on arcade. :) loved the rockets. I blew those red cars UP!

That was a fun game :) The graphics look nice, especially the portraits in the cutscenes. The music fits the actions well. Its funny how the bad guys seem to bring away the moonshine by driving on a race track :D Something that could be improved is the aiming, since it is quite hard to hit the enemies. All in all fun entry.

Nice game! Definitely fun to drive around and shoot the guys. Your level design also works well, with ways to intercept cars that are on a different part of the course than you. While there are many different ways to expand the game, the following basic tool is needed in almost every one I can imagine; The player needs some information about where the red cars are, so that they could pull off some cool intercepts. If you want to give a lot of information - a minimap will work best. If you want to give only slight information so that the player is forced to be one their toes, maybe some kind of radar (that shows their location every 10 seconds...).

Overall very fun, driving and shooting were borned to be mixed.
