Interesting idea, very difficult but could be fun.

Super difficult but I did get 4 over the course of a few minutes. I found I could really only make 1 guess in time. 30s would've felt a lot better prob. Maybe if each guess was 10s and so you had 60s to make 6 guesses. Yhe accomplishment when getting one is pretty great tho.

I took a similar route with a word game. Being an avid player of Wordle I thought this was a nice take on the game though I completely sucked at this. I'm really glad you provide a first good guess, I think it would have been impossible without that. Nice job!

This is very hard. As a non english speaker i made one correct guess in like 5 minutes XD It was very satifying to make that correct guess.

This is way more hard but the price to retry is also cheap as ****. Somehow I spent way more time on this wordle than anyother ludum dare game - this is an ACTION game where reaction and memory matter. Nice work!

I did manage to get one though, and I'm going to carry that victory in my heart for at least a week

I had a slight issue where it felt like my keyboard inputs weren't registering (usually at the start of a new word). Not that it mattered because most of the time I just sat there motionless because I couldn't think of a single word!

I like wordle games a lot, so I was excited to try this one. But turns out: it's sooo hard to even think of one fitting word in such a short time - and before I could enter a second one, the time was always already over.

I feel like this game suffers from the same problem as many others I've tried so far in this jam - 10 seconds feels much too short to fit a whole level of a game into it, so I can't enjoy the challenge because I'm always stressed out by the super short time limit.

Ouch, for a wordle player, this one is too hard to get right. But maybe next time I'll just make as many guesses as possible.

Oh my.. this is hard haha! But I love it! This is very well done for a game that is made on a planeflight with your new wife sitting next to you
I could not figureout the words though. I think that the words are a bit hard for people who's first language is not english.

Great game! Loved the additional pressure over regular wordle. Amazing way to practice too!

@wouter52 It's the same word list as the real Wordle! And yeah, a lot of the words are hard... I guess you just have to keep playing until you get a more doable one!

Well, I think there is a way lot of things worse to do on a long flight, than making a LD game :joy:

This is fucking impossible lol. I got 1. ONE. Maybe the hardest LD game I have ever played

I think one thing that could make this game more balanced is allow the player to type nonsense and still verify it. Because 10 seconds is really not a lot of time to do your 2-3 queries AND make sure each query is actually a real word. If I could just put RSTAU to check which letters I think might be in there then I would have a much higher hit rate

Yeah, if you type you maybe have time for one informational guess at most, but usually to get them you need to get a good starting guess and then be clever with your follow up guess from there
