Thirsty Vampire by LDJam user 273557

In Thirsty Vampire, you play as a vampire who has to consume fresh blood every 10 seconds, but you need to make sure your victim has a compatible blood type. The difficulties are based on whatever blood type you select at the start.

Controls: WASD to move Q to check blood type E to consume blood SHIFT to dash

Helloooo! Third game jam I've been a part of and first one that I've done on my own! First time where I've done the sprite animations by myself so it was fun to learn.
Tools - Unity - Aseprite - SFXR: http://www.drpetter.se/project_sfxr.html - BGM: https://pernyblom.github.io/abundant-music/index.html - Font: https://www.dafont.com/alagard.font

The music is good but way too loud, though!
Art is nice, just the letters on the characters that you checked could some work to be more visible.
Music fit nicely with the game but it was way too loud.
Also a tip when configuring the controllers, since you move with WASD try to use other keys that are not Q and E to do actions, since your right hand does nothing and having actions on Q and E force you to stop moving.
Maybe try to adjust the difficulty a bit, by for example:
- resetting the full 10 seconds everytime you suck blood
- showing the green arrow (very helpful by the way) directly above the person
- making people stand still after you tested them
All just ideas, I had fun, thank you ;)
10/10, nice job!
I agree with @fribolin that refilling the full 10 seconds would make it feel more fair, though it may make it too easy (especially on AB mode, it would just be a people-eating simulator!). I feel like different ways of making it difficult would make the game feel more fair, even just obstacles.
