Emperor Penguin by LDJam user 293046
O Emperor Penguin, the subjects of our Glorious Empire await your decisions in the consul room!
Unfortunately due to the sheer number of subjects lined up today, you will only have 10 seconds to accept or decline each penguin's request.
Each request will affect our Glorious Empire's resources: Food, Support, and Security.
If you are able to grow one of our resources to 10, your success will allow our Empire to enter a Golden Era!
In contrast, letting one reach 0... Well I dare not speak of the consequences.
I understand our subjects do speak in… interesting ways. But if you fail to make a decision in 10 seconds, we will be forced to automatically decline their request.
Godspeed you! Penguin Emperor!!

the 10 second mechanic is not really relevant, as it more "lasts ten seconds" more than "EVERY ten seconds".
"pro
tec
tion"
is this a roman joke I'm missing or a newline typo?
Good job!
Amazing entry!
the art is very good, and the sfx of the penguins talking are funny, i like it
I think the use of the theme is a bit too simple (It's a time limit), but the theme is difficult to play with.
However, it's really beautiful and it was a pleasure from the first second for that.
I love the concept, the art, the humor, everything! And my empire birthed the fattest pinguin of them all! :D
Great job to all the team, you managed to make a very polished game with a scope the perfect size for the jam. Well done!
