Oh this is great, I love it. Simple and not anything technically impressive but this flavor of absurd storytelling is really fun and the downsampled, choppy, collage-like art is very well executed.

I think this game scene has some artistic and philosophical traits in it.... love the bit style....astonished by the idea of replacing skeleton head by the satellite dish, creepy yet intriguing. everything looks fabulous and metaphorical, enjoying the concept....

I like the first impression, but abstained from voting for now as I seem to be missing something.

It's easy enough to find the baboon's signal (and God's), but I'm unsure what to do with them as the only thing that I seem to be able to actually interact with is the eye (if it doesn't wander off screen). I assume I have to do something when the signal is the strongest, but I have no idea what 🤔

I could've sworn I played another game you made last Ludum Dare about collecting organs from zombies? Anyway this game was great and I love your writing, it has a feel like Mike Klubnika and How Fish Is Made and you have a great artistic voice. Hope you continue doing game jams cause I wanna play your other stuff!

Nice style of art and concept of designing! But maybe a little bit lack of guide...? Because I was really confused at first()

Lol, that makes a lot more sense, thanks for putting that into the description for jam-induced sleep-deprived people like me :)

Managed to reach the end now and rated the game. Great absurdist styling and writing in this one!

While the gameplay isn't much to write home about, the absurd style and world kept me engaged the whole time. I adored the sound design, story, characters and the strange humor presented throughout. The dialogue sounds were especially satisfying to me! Overall this is a fantastic entry, I loved it and I hope you continue to explore this style.

I wished the gameplay had a bit more to it but the story and atmosphere kept my intrigue. I don't know what all of this meant but I appreciate the wackiness.

Interesting art style. Atmospheric. If you play for long enough, you'll fall under the influence of a slight madness.

This game was absolutely beautiful in my opinion. It was wonderfully crafted and your story was conveyed beautifully. The asset work here is also commendable and the real life footage really jarred me (in a good way). Amazing work overall!

I really liked this, completely off beat and unexpected and balanced a nice line between humour and making the player feel uncomfortable with a sense of unknowing dread as you progress. Simple idea but great story execution, colour palette was solid and consistent too!

there the game you play because you want to give rating and get some back, and there the game you want to stay in and keep exploring. I think this entry is incredible, made me laugh, but wasn't always at ease, i wanted to see what the next thing would be, and it fit the them nicely, great entry !

I loved the sound of the king baboon, and the art is intriguing.
My only problem was that I found God, but I didn't understand anything... Well, it must be like real life.

Absolutely loved how unhinged this was. Superb atmosphere, and visuals are really cool. The walking part felt just a tiny bit tedious, but I think it was rather fitting pacing overall. Having to go around for trashbot was maybe the only one confusing bit. Overall great work!!

What the frick did I actually just play, this is the most symbolic loaded game I've seen with so many things that make no sense in the best way imaginable. Okay, I just gotta rattle this off before I get to my praises.
Who was that bamboo king?
am i hallucinating or did we cut off the LEFT arm of the last sinner before taking god's RIGHT arm?
why was god's left hand in the stomach of the beast?
was it cause humanity died because of nuclear weapons, and the beast was "full" of all of humanitie's deaths and vices?
Was there a NUCLEAR WAR??
why was the slug tied with the quote "god made man in his image" (paraphrasing in game)??
What was with the no sleeping mask thing??
Stone tablet?????
Also why is it when we tried getting closer to god, we fell in the pit, only getting farther and farther away??
HUH????

I need to know what drugs you used while making this cause I NEED that stuff. Holy cow, mechanics are simple, story is narratively mysteries (not confusing), the art is just something else I can not describe it other than pure horror and peak. The audio was aggressive (in a good way, lol, except for the monkey he was OBNOXIOUS). like what? Genuinely gonna be thinking about this game cause of how much I loved it, holy cow. Fantastic job on an amazing piece that came out of no where.

this some avant garde shit... I love the gritty visuals, strong sound choices, love how the map looks like some fleshy textures and deep fried JPEGs stacked on top of each other but is actually somewhat working according to common sense 😄😄 awesome and inspiring piece of work right here

Man what the f*** did I just play?! That's amazing, I wished I had half your creativity. This is the kind of experience that stays with you a long time after playing. Gameplay-wise it's true that there could be a bit more to it, but the aesthetics, the writing, it's all mesmerizing. It took me a few minutes to understand you can point you antenna head to detect the NPCs but I think it's a clever mechanic. Most unique entry I've played so far!

Wow. Just wow.

The game itself is kind of basic, but I have a feeling your focus was more on the overall experience than the moment-to-moment gameplay. And what an experience it is! Surreal, funny, thought-provoking. And whatever that aesthetic is called, it's on point!

the aesthetic is so cool and unique for a jam game it immediately caught my eye when I saw it

I think it's executed really well. some of the parts are surreal and funny and others felt weirdly deep. I don't even mind the lack of gameplay because the game excels at what it's aiming for
