This is the best game I've seen in this LD. It really is not that far from a complete sellable experience. It reminds me a lot of a game called [Minit](https://store.steampowered.com/app/609490/Minit/), Great music, characters, humour, everything. Congratulations for this, you all deserve it.

What an absolutely wonderfully charming game. I don't know if there's a single thing I didn't give a 5/5. The presentation was great, the writing full of humour, and though my name might be 2bitcrook, I'm a big big fan of the 1bit art which you knocked out the park. And the theme of going deeper and deeper into the world to find stuff, remarkable. Wonderful job and you should all feel mega chuffed!

This is probably the only game I'll rate 5/5, the endless depths actually made me laugh, and the entire experience from writing, to music to graphics is impeccable, amazing job!

the game was amazing I had talking to the characters and going deep into the world and I would loved to see more dialogues and things to do in the game it's a bit short, the art is amazing but not original taken from the game minit. in the end it was really a solid 5min game and I think I killed a rat lol

Amazing game, this is one of the best entries I've seen! It's amazing how well balanced this game is: The scope is small, but the theme, graphics, music, "story" with puzzles, and implementation is all great and cohesive, into a cheerful game. Did you get some inspiration from any particular game? The style reminds me of Minit.
Good job!

Note: From the itch.io page you can add a tag that it's a LD48 entry with this link, and itch.io will put such link at the top of the page.

Cool game! I love the puzzles and the lighthearted humour. The concept and the way you implemented going deeper are so fun and tie in with the whole world you created! Small tip: you could possibly reduce the amount of buttons by one if interacting is the same one as going deeper ;)

One of the best entries! So adorable. <3 The zoom in and out mechanic is clever. Mr. Snail got some size control powers I guess.^^

I liked this one! It reminded me a lot of Undertale. I liked the simple 1-bit graphics, they were charming and worked well for this mini-adventure RPG. All the musical tracks by themselves were really good, but I don't always feel they fit the mood of the silly lighthearted adventure you go on. Some of them sounded really somber (almost Silent Hill-esque) and some were unnecessarily tense (for example the one that plays during the labyrinth). I was kept on the edge of my seat for something sad or terrible to happen, because the mood felt inappropriate. Still, the tracks were great, if examined on their own, just maybe not the most fitting.

I enjoyed the gameplay as well. You had enough "going deeper" to keep me amused and interested as to what other crazy thing I will have to enter next. Furthermore, I loved the idea of going into your shell as a snail, that was really cute. Aside from that, I don't have much to say about the gameplay. It was simple, polished and quite enjoyable to experience. It even had me a little puzzled at times. I didn't know what to do with the nut, but had a small eureka moment when I realized my pet crab is named Cracker and he is what I need to solve the puzzle. I feel like for a future version you should definitely focus on these types of puzzle moments, because it's really where this simple gameplay shines, in my opinion.

Overall, this is a fantastic entry. I have nothing overtly negative to say about it, it's just a bit of a shame that the music felt so unfitting to me, because with the right mood I easily think this game would be a 4.5 to a 5 in all categories. You've done an amazing job and I hope to see this continued!

The concept of going in and out is briliant. I enjoyed the 2 bit graphics as well. The characters and the dialog are fun. The difficulty of the puzzles is well balanced and had me scratching my head a few times. Very solid, no bugs. Great game!

Very nice game, extremely cute. The main mechanic surprised me! Mechanic, visuals, sounds, everything ties well together. I had a lot of fun discovering the characters and the places. Very solid entry :D

I find the musics don't transition very well one to the other.
The text "break lid with hammer" very briefly appeared when I entered the terrarium. Similar things happened again during my playthrough.

This is *definitely* one of my favorites this jam. I loved the art, the music was simple but fantastic and I loved how it got a bit more deranged the further "down" you went. The take on the theme was pretty original and tied in perfectly with the game, the execution was fantastic. It's short and there's not a ton of gameplay or content, but it was an amazing experience. Awesome job!

Also, just want to give a shoutout to the dithering effect. It looks really great haha.

Wonderful atmosphere: I particularly enjoyed the overall scenery, and the graphics completely fit the genre.
Definitely got some wholesome Undertale vibe in there.

I would have loved a bit more challenge, and some levels are tedious (especially before the Genie), but I had a blast, so thank you for this moment.

Oh no, is Akbarat going to be okay?
A very charming entry. You're pulling off the minimalistic style very well, the game has a very consistent and polished feel, and the whole story is very wholesome (well, except for maybe Akbarat's fate). A joy to play, well done!

Loved this game. Great graphics and audio. lots of fun zooming in and out. I like all the little characters. Gameplay was very obvious and straight forward but that didn't detract at all as it was such an enjoyable experience going along for the ride. Great work!

Really polished game, great work. I like the transition between areas and 1 bit style is cool, like Minit. If you add more levels, this could be a full game.

Awesome little game, and I can't believe that each depth level had its own music? You mad lads have made quite the gem! Logical puzzles, awesome art, and brilliant story. I've got no criticism, just awe at your game dev powers.

That was extremely cute! I though I understood the gimmick after leaving the shell and coming back in so continuing deeper into the new levels was a great surprise! I would gladly play much more of this. Only issue I had was the audio was a bit crackly but that may have been my headphones. Only other thing I would have changed would be to bind movement to WASD as well as arrows, just so people have the option of which to use.
