Tripus's Very Deep Adventure by Kornel
You're dreaming about octopuses and all of a sudden you feel that your arms are getting longer and longer. You are scared about falling into rocks so you try to grab anything. Some kind of weird music kicks in and you just don't want to stop dreaming of swinging in caves.
Collect pickups. Gain combos. Amass as much points as you can!

How to play:
- Press and hold left mouse button to use your rope
- Pickups give points and combos!
- Dive deeper and deeper but avoid rocks (unless you have U L T R A!)

Thanks a lot!
We have done our best to make good feeling for every second spend in this game!
How was yours score?
I mean it'd be cool if you had added in some sound effects that played when the blocks were broken or when you collect the yellow blocks :)
Also on attempt number 2 I managed to get a score of 92505 and I'm happy with that score lol
Nice score for the first time.
@norris-eldridge don't you feel challanged :P?
And @noskro: no, there is no end unless your octopus dies, you just try to get as much points as possible :)
On one of my first attempts I got 308397 points on depth 87.
Edit: Only just now I realized that there are 2 different soundtracks that are chosen seemingly at random. Not sure what's up with that, but I like both.
Also in main menu there are two random musics randomized each time you open the game
Thanks guys for playing our game.
We are glad that game satisfies you. We know that there could be more content to make this game harder... but every idea we came into was too time consuming.
Some of you talked about publishing app on mobiles. We will see what future bring :D
Still 350k is the highest score :P leaderboard sounds necessary hehe.
Thanks a lot for your effort and comments!
One thing I would think about if you ever came back to this idea is to cycle through different tilesets/backgrounds, as fatigue started to set in for me as I reached depth 88 or so. It would help the player feel like they are making more progress with different environments to destroy/swing around. Granted, that's not something that can always happen within the confines of the jam.
All in all, excellent work from the team.
