I found this unique and funny! The speed makes it a bit hard on the eyes to read the text, but I like the fusion of rail and memory puzzle gameplay.

The idea is fairly unique, but I don't think it's a very fun one. Once you "solve" the puzzle in your head, actually swapping the things becomes a big chore. Can also be slightly nauseating. Not very pretty. The audio is irritating and doesn't loop all that well.

@irwatts Thanks for playing! The player does slow down a little bit when there's more text but I can see why it would still be hard to read.

@Anonymous I appreciate your honest feedback. I was aiming for Innovation and Theme more than anything else.
Sorry about the swapping mechanic; it started off differently and ended up that way due to time constraints.
Music and art aren't great, I'll give you that

That was very clever, and I think there's some engaging gameplay in making sure you don't miss your chance to actually put the answers in. Maybe something that counts the number of loops it took so you can replay to optimise your performance? But very neat, and well executed. Well done.

Woah, I like how the end of the game puts you right at the beginning to make the whole game a loop. I wish there was the option to slow down or speed up the player. Great work!

Cool ideas by just using simple mechanics, I especially love the idea of the "credits"-section

I like the idea, but I feel there are a lot of quality of life stuff that would make it way more fun, like a smoother camera and the ability to change the icon more than once every passing.
However, I liked solving the riddles

This was so fun! Really tickled me, and the panning of the audio worked really well

oh wooah that's super clever mechanic! great job!
my only criticism really is that sometimes the texts were maybe a bit hard to read, but other than that superr!
(also loved the ending <3)

@judgezedd I like your counter idea; allows for replayability and high scores

@blobo Thanks! I did intend to allow speed control but it messed up some of the colliders I had so I had to leave it.

@melektaus Cheers! Just making sure everyone knows who made it

@jelle-vermandere Thanks for the feedback. I enjoyed making the riddles so thanks again

@rupert-cole Thanks so much :smile:

@kultisti Glad to hear it

Haha agreed with the fast text, made me wish I could read faster :P Very cool concept!

Great job for the first game jam! It's really complete and fun to play. Very good idea. Constant screen switching was a bit annoying, but it also made it more challenging and fun.

Very original your game. I found it amusing. Good puzzles. Congratulations.

Haha, very clever! Movement a little fast at times, but that did make me feel stuck in the loop more than if movement were slow i.e. if could read the text more easily. Very nice well-rounded conclusion to the game. Quite funny too! Well done!

It was a bit hard to understand at the beginning, but then it was pretty fun to play. As others have said, the text and screen moved fast, but it's still readable. The audio worked great too. So overall, this game is pretty nice!

Really good job for a 1st time! It's fully playable from beginning to end (and forever after that!) which is hard to do. The puzzles were easy but it was surprising seeing what the next puzzle was going to be. Main thing that was annoying was the audio switching positions when the screen changed. It would have worked nicer if the audio smoothly changed as you went around the loop.

A nice little game, I love it! One thing I would change about it is that the transition of camera positions could be smoother so it's easier on the eye. Good job!

Thank you all for playing!

The plan was for a player to loop a few times to understand what the full text was but I understand if it went a little fast.

The audio builds up with every puzzle (a new instrument is added). Unfortunately, music isn't my forte so it didn't sound as good as I'd hoped.

Camera was tricky as I didn't want it to give the game away. Switching cameras was to make sure the "surprise" wasn't spoiled for the player.

Neat little game, I just find the camera cuts a little nauseating.
