Excellent game, would love to see what you could add with more time if you continued to work on it! The potential for cards / decks is huge. Well done.

I love this. The strategy isnt somthing you can get in a game with so much time prassure to make it.

Very cool, I lasted a while and was at one point close to beating the game, but no such luck.

It was fun, a tiny bit confusing at first, but learned to play within a couple turns.

Great job!

I'll be submitting my game to the jam tomorrow for the first time ever.

Pretty Hard! I won on turn 111, an auspicious number. Was trying to work out heuristics for it, but... well I had fun even if I didn't know what I was doing :D

What a great entry - like I said on twitch as well ... I was a bit worried by the fact that it's not as easily "available" - you need to use a little time to get into rules - but it's all worth it. I will actually be returning to this... not only during the jam :thumbsup_tone1:

i like that i was able to start the game just randomly putting dice in to places that fit and by the end i was working on strategies for getting the best dice rolls. really good game.

96 turns.
This was pretty hard, but actually very balanced and thought out. I enjoyed every minute playing and while I was frustrated by the dice rolls I was glued to the screen.

Fun game! I watched some of the stream, so I knew how it worked. Still pretty pleased with my score \o/

Fun game! Pretty easy to ensure you never lose, but challenging to try to win in as few turns as possible. Well balanced and enjoyable.

This is so far my favorite game. I'm a sucker for games you could play table top, and this is definitely one of them. I haven't beaten it yet but I'll go back to it. I love the chance, the questing and the life systems.

As feedback, I think you could actually forego most of the tutorial, as the UI has explanations for it everywhere. The tricky part was understanding how the list of numbers was updated. At the beginning it was sequential, left to right. I wonder if that would make for a more challenging game?

Smart, interesting, and unique game concept! Fun to play and well-polished, though I don't think there is a lot of replay value unless you lose. It seems pretty easy to win once you get the basic strategy down (won in 40 turns my first game despite playing mostly randomly at first). The "music" is pretty odd... it's definitely original.

Actually a really fun game to play! I didn't really think strategy games would perform well in ludum dares but this one is really well thought out and fun! I also tuned in to some parts of your stream while you were making this game

Great game, you can tell you took a lot of inspiration from dicey dungeons and crafted a unique game from it. Some difficult decisions in there too. Pip Pip Hurrah!

I didn't get the chance to check out the stream when you where programming due to participating in the Jam but I can tell by playing it that it must have been really productive. I like the fire crackle effect and the dice roll. Definitely a good game.

A very creative game! I have never seen a die builder before. There are so many possibilities with card interactions and die combos.
Watched the stream too, while participating my self. Great work!

Great, really fun game! I felt a bit overwhelmed by the tutorial screens, but after a couple of turns I fully understood what was going on. This is one of the most fun LD games I've played, I love that there's a lot of genuine strategy and decision making

Well Done Quill! I popped into the stream periodically to check up on how the game was coming along. It turned out real nice. Congrats on another successful LD!

As usual, some very deep mechanics. I'll admit I had some trouble figuring out what was going on while playing. The explanation in the beginning helps, but once I started playing I wish I good go back to some help (or did I miss that option?) Took me several defeats before I started getting the hang of it. Great work!

Confusing at the start, but at the end I felt I did confident choises. Nice and replayable.

Oh and I won in 60 turns!

@wasd absolutely agree and it's sad that he doesn't do much Unity stuff on his channels anymore... there are other channels that technically are just as good but I've always loved the approach and feel of his teachings (young skywalker)

@quill18 I ABSOLUTELY miss content from the Quill18Creates channel ... or is it because I need to use twitch (although I haven't seen much in there except for gaming and of course LD's)

Love the theme. Played it a bit late yesterday, so might have done better when more awake.
Felt that the progress was a bit too slow, like the game punished me all the time.
Otherwise, as others have mentioned, nice depth and cool usage of dice.
One of the better entries wrt. complexity and logic.

Interesting take on a dice game, had the steam on in the background as I worked on my own game, so nice to finally get to play it. Turns out, I have no affinity with the fire gods.

Great concept for a game! I played it through :)
The quests are really engaging, the strategic depth is nice and there's a decent amount of variety. The only weak point are the graphics

Very nice concept, I usually don't really like games with dice because of the randomness, however I was pleasently surprised. I enjoy the strategy and the quests. Keep going!

Really fun game, it has a nice twist to the dice gameplay. I was able to build two monuments, then the third one was really difficult. I'm pretty sure if I tried again, I can do better.

Great game! I spent quite a while playing until I managed to win. Very addicting! The soundtrack was unique and fitting super well with the game; it did so much for the mood!
Really felt like a complete game. Thanks for the experience!
