A very feature rich and compelling game with great visuals. Amazing work! I wasn't able to beat it, but it wasn't unfair, I just suck XD

What a game !

We feel pro behind :) nothing to say really.
All is easy to understand, simple to control, with a pinch of difficulty, and freedom to build our own way !

A GameGem of this Jam !

Well done !

As I expected your game is more than polished and really good ( it's a "bloody gem" I shall say ) !
Graphics are awesome and the fun is everywhere. How to brain a Game Jam by Miniboss x)
I ratted it the most sever way I could ( knowing your high experience in game dev ;p ) But still... I couldn't give you lesser ratting than I did.

The theme is well used here. There's a "binding of Isaac" style that is cool.

Great job !

Amazing graphics and very creepy. I struggled with the game play but I'm not a gamer... Also the music fitted the mood fantastically.

Well this game is really amazing - but i just expected that from you both :D (i am a big celeste fan).

The game feels like a mix from zelda and dead cells. I didnt finished it (but i want to try it later) as i died in the 8th round :D

Audio matches perfectly and catches the mood.

okay .. how is this made in 72hr ?

I played for 15 minutes and this is awesome. It is almost a full game and very impressive.
I really love the gameplay and how tight the control is, how fun adding new room is, and how each loop get harder and harder.

I am definitely coming back later to beat this.

Good job !

Edit: Finally beat it

Oh my glob, this game is great!

The art and audio are great and make the ambiance so right for the game. Couldn't finish it because my keyboard layout didn't work great with the game (azerty) but it's great nonetheless. What an awesome job <3

Cool Game, was not totally clear why always already existing rooms changed during gameplay and I expected that the Exit room would be part of a run and the game doesn't directly ended.

But in general a very cool game, awesome graphics and the sound gives some nice mood.

This was really good. Some very clear inspiration from something like Binding of Isaac, but it has enough of its own identity to not feel derivative. The way you get to build your own challenges feels really cleaver and creative.

The graphics and sound are top notch as well. Really impressive jam title!

That was cool! Setting your own challenges and all the rooms getting increasingly difficult over time feels super rewarding to play! The graphics are just so good with so many details! Wow.

Lovely art and music! I like the twist on the Binding of Isaac gameplay model, where you're adding your own chambers to the map as you go. I also like the idea of taking more dangerous rooms to increase how quickly you gain blood.

Clearer enemy responses on being hit to indicate when you've done damage to them would be really helpful -- I frequently couldn't tell whether I was doing damage, or how much, and I had a very hard time predicting how many times I'd have to hit enemies to kill them. The bullets from the plant enemies felt more annoying than dangerous -- being able to destroy them by shooting them with your own bullets would have made those fights feel less tedious and more engaging.

Wow i think this is one of my favorites, great gameplay and art. a faster character would make the game more dynamic in my opinion, it feels kinda too slow rn.

+great art and mood

+a nice amount of content

-weapons feel pretty weak

-upgrades needed a little variety

Great work!

Solid basic gameplay loop. It felt like the health on the plants was *really* high, and the bombing enemy attacks were particularly difficult to evade, making rooms with either of those particularly punishing. Definitely fun to play around with, and the draft/buying rooms to add onto the end of the loop mechanic worked nicely.

The ingame text on the Evolution Room was a little confusing, in that all rooms get more difficult the more times you visit them and that description made it feel like that would be a more unique effect to that room (I guess it's more dramatic there?)

This is absolutely stunning and incredible that you've managed to put this together in such a short amount of time. It does almost feel like a full game! I am fully and desperately in love with that art style.
The one thing I'd say is that the shooting did not feel as satisfying as it could be. Since it's the main interaction of the game, I think a bit more tweaking and tuning is necessary on that side. Otherwise, really solid entry, well done!

I really love the design and the animations! The art style is polished and it gave me some "Don't starve together" vibes. The concept is great too! Overall, the game looks and sounds very good! Nice entry!

Really awesome VFX and mechanics, but I think it was missing some low-hanging fruit to make it really feel cohesive. Main thing is that you couldn't move while shooting, which means you were mostly acting like a turret in most levels. A big part of what makes Isaac fun is the frantic movement around, so I wish there was something more to that, maybe a dash or something that you could do in between shots. Also, there was no way to upgrade your gun as far as I could tell? Upgrades for damage, AOE, or fire rate would have made the loop a lot more addictive. The art was super stylish and efficiently used, impressive # of enemies and animations, and little touches like the green splotches and way the blood bounced around made it feel very polished. Great audio too, didn't really notice it much which is a good thing.

This is such a ridiculously good game, not just for a jam, but period. I love the twist of being able to select which rooms you want to add to your current run -- I don't know if I've ever seen that in a roguelike but it's a welcome alternative to having to memorize a whole bunch of weapons and items and whatever. Even knowing what's ahead, there's still plenty of randomness to make each loop feel fresh too. Controls are solid and good variety in the enemies. I can't stop playing!

I really liked this game. One small piece of feedback tho: being obligated to buy something is not good IMO. Once I was with few blood ( begin of a run ) and therefore had only 2 options, but both are kind of bad at the long run, so yeah that was annoying. ( There was another piece of feedback but I forgot ). Great game!

Wow! Really cool concept, like Binding of Isaac with a twist :) The audio, visuals and gameplay all work very nicely together. Only complaint was that the hitbox was a bit small, so felt like the bullets were just going through the enemies. This is fresh game jam produce! Doesn't get better :D
