Seems the HUD is a little messed up on the first play. Also, seems like the money persists between plays. Doesn't appear there are levels. I liked the explosions and the sounds.

web version seems to be missing $.
otherwise a reasonable start for a tower defense game

### Web scaling is "fixed". It's not as good as the downloads but at least HUD is no longer cut off.

@dk5000p Thanks for playing! I didn't have time make a proper wave system. So for now it's just the same levels over and over but you keep your money and the number of enemies increase. If you lose all your HP, it's game over.

Right now the game is fairly easy. I can defeat every wave just using the cheap weapon. Make the weapons matter more. Keep up the good work and it will be a fine game. I specially like the planes, they took me with suprise on the first wave.

@gustav-andersson Thanks! I agree, this is more of a demo than a game at this stage.

Its fairly easy and gets repetetive really quickly.
At the beginning its kinda stressfull because everyone is rushing at you - but you get the hang of it quickly.
The game is fun but is unfortunatly missing content to motivate a bit longer.
Graphics and sound / music are well done. Fun to play for a few minutes. Well done!

I know it's been said before but this game needs a better difficulty curve. After like wave 7 it gets too easy and you cna use the same 5 turrets to win every time, it seems the enemies don't get progressively stronger or more numerous. A suggestion I'll give is have the weapon stock more limited each time, or increase the number of enemies progressively.
Other than that this is a very well executed game! I love a good tower defense, we need more of those. Good job!

Very nice tower defense, though as the others mentionned before the game is a little too easy/repetitive in its current state.

Starting over from nothing each wave while keeping your money is interesting. With varying waves you could try to win while saving as much money as possible for a boss wave every 5 waves for instance.

Nice work !

Fun little TD game, kept me busy for a moment!

Not going to repeat what others have said. It'd be nice to have to planes fly in a different path each time they come so that placement becomes a bit more important.

For the time that you had it feels pretty solid, I reckon a day more and you'd have addressed all of the people's feedback points! And awesome music by Joshua as usual! The shooting sound effect felt a bit too loud and crunchy in my opinion.

Thumbs up!

Decent Tower defense game, but it became a bit boring after a while. Like with any other jam game I'll chalk it up to time constraints. I think you have a decent skeleton for implementation of something larger and more sophisticated.
The gameplay itself was smooth and I didnt encounter any bugs. More juice and general feedback when things are blowing up would be cool!

I actually played it right after you released but I forgot to rate >.>

Neat game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 45 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/ZqT_X6b-pfk

neat tower defense game, its fun and all but I think it could include perhaps some experimental mechanics to add to the genre ... i liked the explosions and the fact that planes do not follow the traditional path of the tanks

Just by your GIF, I like this game already!

Playing it now, it's faily easy. I just place 4 enemies at angles and 2 rockets on each level, everything is cleared!

Artwise, amazing! Mechanics, clean! My only problem is that it becomes repetitive afterwards, but looking at the future plans, I'm happy with what's coming!

@me when you make those changes, I want to play that version!

Oh boy, I love tower defense! This was well-executed and fun to play. I like that I had to think quick in between rounds as there was no planning stage. Good job!
Terribly Awesome Games

This was a really fun game and I really enjoyed the strategy with the placement of weapons. I think I came up with a prevailing strategy by the end of a few rounds. I would love to see this on phone or tablet !

I had fun with it for a while! I enjoyed the graphics and sounds. However, I did not see any significant difficulty increase from wave to wave, so it got a bit boring. I just kept placing the same 6 turrets, destroying everything before it could pose any threat and getting richer and richer, as I really didn't need any more turrets than that.

The enemy destruction is very snappy, feels good. I like how the explosive attacks can destroy a bunch of the little enemy dudes at once.

Here's how I've done across a number of tries :bomb:
