Ouroboros Labyrinth by Hilda Hay

[raw]
made by Hilda Hay for Ludum Dare 47 (COMPO)

You're trapped in a maze, and every time you escape you find yourself back in it, with the walls shifted around! Try to catch your ghost from your previous round before it can escape, and then escape yourself. The ghost will follow the same path you took, even traveling through walls that weren't there before. You'll need to think quickly and have a good memory in order to catch it.

Use W, A, S, and D to move. Hit ESC at any time to quit.

The idea of catching your own ghost is pretty neat! Now it makes me wonder how fun it would be if you had to avoid all your ghosts at once, making each rendition harder that way whenever a new ghost gets added.

I really really enjoyed this! Such an innovative idea. It starts off slow because I was playing for the first time and I was moving slowly, but on future iterations I was moving faster and I found myself screaming at my own self like "get back here you *&%#er!!". This is actually such a neat idea that could be expanded!

Pretty innovative idea! Seems like there's a lot of interesting ways this could be expanded further with keeping older iterations alive and making some dangerous etc

Yeah, agree about keeping more than one past attempt somehow. Would be cool. With some polish/assets, there could almost be a terminator-esque thing going on. A pretty neat idea regardless!
