I, Badduck, together with Eli (https://retryeli.com) have made a game where you protect a plant from bugs and wasps. The game is pretty hard and could contain some glitches, but please do enjoy!!!

IMPORTANT!!!!! You can prevent following glitches from happening by reading how below. | \/

Glitches: - The difficulty of the game depends on how much time has passed since launching the program. Because of this, you can sometimes see a ridiculous amount of enemies when you first play the game. To prevent this, close the program and when you open it again, immediately press play. - The sprinkler turret doesn't shoot. To kill enemies that are immune to bullets (the wasp), buy the flamethrower. - The difficulty ramps up very fast at some point, lagging the game and making it unplayable. Sorry for that.

There seems to be an issue with the spawner as it spawns endless amounts which leads to a framerate below 1 :(

Great gameplay and pixel art. The mechanics are great and the game is quite fun. However the lack of different "Waves" causes the game to spawn too many enemies. The difficulty increases all of a sudden. Other than that, Great work.

Cool game, very nice graphic!!
However I had some problems with the spawning rate, too much bugs! :D

Love the take on the tower defence however any game with the sentence, the wasps are immune to bullets should immediately be classified as horror

I can't earn enough money to get a flamethrower for the wasps... Apart from that, super cute game, i like how you have to collect the money yourself. This game only needs a bit of music and balance and it would be perfect.
Really great job! Perfect fit for the theme i do love how you represented the health on the flower

I had a lot of fun playing this game. But from a certain point on, the game spaned so many enemies, that the game got laggy. lot of fun, though.

Very nice! A solid implementation of a classic tower defense game. I had some issues with the buttons on your itch.io page; clicking on buttons on the start menu would actually trigger the buttons lower down on the screen! It seemed to be fine in the actual game, though. I also couldn't see the shop at all until I maximized the game. Good entry!

At first I did not understand how to place a turret because when I bought it I placed it next to the store and I couldn't see it! I liked the art and the game in general!

there seems to be an issue in the menu where the cursor is offset with the actual clicking location(the cick is lower than the pointer) otherwise the game is pretty fun

Nice pixel art! Like the others said, as soon as the wasps came I couldn't win! Not enough money for the flamethrower.

Cute graphics and audio, everything works nicely it just needs tweaking so that the progression of enemies matches the money earned. Nice work!

It would be a normal tower defense game.
This game is different because of:
1, Collecting the money gives a good impact on gameplay.
2, Immune enemies to damage types.
3, Character builds the defense instead of a mouse pointer.

I like the high ground too - function is not clear of it.
You are right the game is hard. Balancing would be useful.

Pretty nice, had quite some fun. Just had a small issue, the top part of the screen was cut until I maximized the game.

good job, i have some points for you
- you can hide the character hat in the flower xD, the spire overlap
- the fire bullet ahhh, do not see the direccion they are shooting
- in some points they are a lot of enemies and the game turns slow

I really like the concept of a tower defense where you still have a character that has to move around and collect resources. The use of petals to display life was really clever as well!

Nice graphics and enjoyable game the only thing that I think could make the gameplay more enjoyable is the option of accelerating the wave, because at the beginning it can get a bit bored.
