Peck Beach by matfernandestt
That's it, my submission for Ludum Dare 46! This is a simple turn-based RPG where you are a little bird searching for an mysterious egg. Unfortunately I couldn't made in time for the compo category, but since I'm satisfied with the result, I'll be updating it in the next couple of days. Leave some feedbacks and vote! There are in total 3 different enemies in the game, can you find them all?
Thank you!

The characters design, animations, sound design and environment are nice, even if we feel that you lacked time to make it a complete game, but it was an ambitious project ! Congrats !
1.The charector dose not exist on the 3D World.
it looks like it is stick to the screen.
2.It is not accurate to the given theme.
But well done i enjoyed keep it up.
If there was an objective, I didn't find it. I found the combat system was nice but the exit battle action didn't require confirmation. I think this area could be tightened up a bit.
Overall, a nice demo of things that are to come! Replacing the textures on the world items to match the aesthetic of the characters will help lots.
Good work!
My critique would probably be to add a bit of a more intuitive control scheme.
I'd like to maybe see this game worked on further. I had fun with this and a full game would be cool.
Overall great looking game that I'd love to see expanded.
With some more gameplay mechanic it can become a really interesting game, good job !
But don't get me wrong, it's a great game, but i felt like the scope of this game was way too ambitious for a 3 day game jam, even for a team... (Did you worked on a team? Otherwise you shold be proud of your accomplishment, man)
Anyway... Great job!!! Keep it up!!!
@marxy-37 yup, all by myself (I mean, the overworld song, the enemy detection sfx and the battle menu icons I
downloaded on the internet after I realized could not made in time for the compo category)

I think this game would greatly benefit some story though, but you still did great, well done :)
But otherwise a cool entry
Good game mate :)
I think it's weird that the character portrait/Health Bar goes from top to bottom of the screen depending if you're in overworld or battle. I belong to the design school of consistency so that's just maybe my point of view.
Apart from that it had an impressive amount of polish, except for the battle music which got old really fast - but what are you gonna do in 72 hours?
