Ludum dare 47 - Stuck in a loop

I made a very litteral interpretation of the theme with a minimalistic art style as I do not know how to do more complex art! I took a flat design color palette to try staying coherent.

I made the code on Construct 3 game engine and I really hope you enjoy the game concept there!

Known issue : in certain cases the walls do not open, I could not fix in time!

Took me a moment to get the hang of the mechanics but when I did it was a lot of fun! The camera movement made placing circles a bit frustrating some times but since you never need to be extremely fast it wasn't that bad.

I did like it overall, but it fell kind of slow sometimes.

Good audio BTW, went good with the motive of the game.

I love this! Super inventive and lots of fun! The difficulty is just right and it's hard to stop playing. This is the most on-theme game I have played so far - well done!

I liked the mood of the game, maybe the music is a bit repetitive but it fits perfectly the theme! With some improvements you could have a very nice concept for a game!

Short, sweet and polished to heck.
I love what you've done! Taking a simple concept (That totally fits the theme), putting it into a game and then just perfecting it. The music fits, the particle effects are beautiful but simple, and it was fun!

The final dot was quite tricky to get, but I got it on my first shot!

This was very nice to play. The music, the environment, the screen shakes and sound effects were amazing.
Would have loved to have some checkpoints.
The music did not restart when i died, but reloading the game was also an option.

Very good job!

Great audio, atmosphere and very zen-like gameplay. My only criticism is the lack of checkpoints, getting annoyance mixed in with all the zen was not something I was expecting. :D

What a great idea. I'm really in awe! The physics are so nice, and the audio creates a vibe that makes me... sympathise with a glowing ball? Enjoyed it a lot!

Fun game, well done.

Only issue i had was with the screenshake and the camera movement, its sometimes hard to place loops exactly where you want them to go

Wow, that was an amazing experience! Everything works in this game, from the simple yet addicting gameplay to the amazingly polished sound and visual designs. I could really see myself playing this for an extended amount of time!

Tiny nitpick: The camera messed with my aim a bit in the beginning but I got used to it after a while (also I don't really knwo a better solution from the top of my head).

Where do I start here. Really elegant design. Great choice of music, I actually let it play a while at the start screen, it also goes well with the graphics. The way the game starts and ends and seamlessly loops back to the start screen is very well done. The feedback is rich...again...just an elegant design. I really like the idea, easy to pick up and very enjoyable. You tied this together really well. I'd say perhaps making it slightly easier to begin with, before having moving obstacles a little more practice would be nice but other than that I'm impressed

It was kind of fun. I liked the elegance of it. The jarring death sequence detracted from the game though. Since the mood that you were going for doesn't seem to be hectic, perhaps it could be more forgiving or ease you in better.

I very much like the minimalist art and animations, well done! Also yeah, as everyone already said, fits the theme very well. Audio was on point too.

Tip of the hat for easily playable HTML5 :)

I found myself wishing there was a bit more to play and that you went a little farther with the mechanics, but I really enjoyed the time I spent with it. That's probably one of the best things a game jam game can do, so I'd say you nailed it. Really liked the overall presentation too. It enhanced everything quite nicely.

Super clean presentation. The minimalistic art style and audio work well together, and yet the polish is far from minimal. The title screen is gorgeous, and I liked the ripples and the drawing animation for placing a circle.

The mechanism is simple, but does not get old as the game is short. I'm sure you could get some variation in later levels (such as reversing directions, playing with speed and radius of the circles).

My main gripe would be the slowly-panning camera which gets in the way of placing your circles. I liked that the level is explored this way, but having to wait until the transition stops was a bit annoying. Speeding up the transition a little would solve this.

Anyway, very solid title.
