I want to go by Bithellio

[raw]
made by Bithellio for Ludum Dare 47 (JAM)

This is the first game ever so please be gentle :)

You wake up in a strange place made of ... Candy ? Yea sure .. and all you know is that even death keeps you here .. you keep re appearing in the same place even when you die. explore the level to find new abilities and unlock a way out .. maybe the loop can be used in some way

I know this game is like 200 more . But I thought the concept was fun and some of the mechanics such as throwing your spawn to overcome puzzles (unlocked ability) was fun and as this is not only my first jam but my first ever game .. I didn't think this ended too badly.. .thanks for looking

NOTE THE SOUNDS ( IF THEY WORK ) WERE NOT MADE BY US .. NEITHER WAS THE MENU ART

edit. I've looked at b up g fixing the audio issue but I can't replicate it locally ... It's driving me mad.

Also thanks for the suggestions they're really helpful. V2 of the game will be a lot more polished .. thanks for not just ripping me apart :)

I enabled sound in the option, but it doesn't seem to work. Also, changing the resolution just created black space around 2 of the edges of the screen, making it even smaller.

It does not load for me :(
The console displays the following messages, but no errors:
build.loader.js:1 [UnityCache] indexedDB database could not be opened
build.framework.js:2 IndexedDB is not available. Data will not persist in cache and PlayerPrefs will not be saved.

Nice Game, although the camera feels bit too snappy if you move left right quite frequently

Pretty cool little game. The graphics were cool and the controls felt very polished for such a short time span. The gameplay was a bit confusing and I felt like I never really knew where I was going.

It's pretty good. I got somewhere on the snow but got stuck because I threw my spawner in some spikes. But nice concept.

Nice ideas, i just found the dialogs to be disrupting and aggressives (in the way they are displayed, not the ACTUAL CONTENT of the texts)

But there was walljump, so it's good

The controls are bit clunky and the quick camera movements when turning gave me a little motion sickness but i dig the mechanics, throwing your spawn point around can make for some interesting situations and levels!

Cool idea, but constantly respawning in a spike pit just isn't any fun. Sound would also really help to keep me engaged to play more.

The game has some cool ideas such as utilizing the death to proceed. the signs were super annoying as you had to be on an exact spot to see them so they kept appearing and disappearing all the time. Sound didn't work for me either. A bit more polishing and it is a nice little puzzle platformer :)

The idea is pretty cool and some of the puzzles are clever (like jumping down into de spikes and throwing the respawn point to safe ground before dying), although the controls are pretty bad. Trying to land a jump where I want is really difficult, the part with a heart between spikes is frustrating. I'd recommend making A and D give you acceleration to the left or right instead of a constant speed, that way if I'm going right I can tap A to slow down or stop, which gives me a lot more control (if you implement something like this don't forget to have a max speed). Also having the camera look ahead is really good, but when you turn around the camera should move slower, right now it's too fast.

The things I mentioned are a part of making your first game, so don't feel bad about it. You should be proud that despite all that it was still fun and personally the respawning mechanic made me feel proud of solving one of the puzzles, which isn't a super easy thing to do. Congrats!
