ItchioCover.png From Little Things is a speed puzzle game where you have to find and grow 7 different alien plants, then keep them alive while you continue the hunt for those you haven't found yet.

Game Objective: Find each seed and put them in their respective pots. Then follow the recipe that appears above it by finding the required item on the map. Once you have fully grown a plant you will have to consistently maintain it otherwise you risk it going back stages in its growth.

Embarrassed to say as soon as the arrow under my feet disappeared I was completely lost. I could tell there was something really cool I was supposed to do. I read the instructions here, but I never really figured out how to do it. Hopefully I just missed something, or maybe this will be useful feedback. Either way, something about the way the garden was modeled was really pleasant combined with the sfx and atmosphere.

looks and sound awesome, the plants are especially beautiful, and the gameplay is interesting sometime soothing sometime hectic (when you can't find that green dust and you need it NOW!^^) it's great fun.

now some nit picking :
- The level design is okay-ish but the teleporters are a bit too numerous and as sometime their destinaion is not obvious, so we get lost and loose time and get frustrated. also some resources are present in really accessible places and at the far end of a complex maze, so a huge chunk of the map end up never being used.
- The music doesn't loop.
- You can run out of a ledge and fall on places that shouldn't be that accessible ^^
- A bug were I couldn't give the resources to a plant while I had the right ones in the right number (the trunk like plant was asking 2 blue drops)
- It just comes naturally to press escape to quit a menu so when it quit the game ... the third time might have been my fault though ^^...

thanks everyone for the feedback!
Kevin im sorry that it was difficult next time we will definently push for more new player friendly mechanics such as a checklist or a minimap showing already discovered items.

Cheese team apologies for that, i tested on my macbook pro 2015 i think a couple versions behind catelina and it worked ok so that might've been where that went wrong

Eduard thanks for the support haha

Angry cyboot thanks for the detail breakdown. i agree more time needs to be spent playtesting and tuning the map so that you are forced to move around the map, also yes some of the teleporters are a bit confusing. The music definently was tacked on and next time figuring out how to make it loop would very much help with the ambience. Regarding the ledge thingo I did not even realise that could happen that so yes more rigorous testing is required. The trunk like plant thing must be very annoying for the player so yes a full dev playthrough before publishing is required. I don't entirely know why we set escape to close the game I agree it really should just be pause.
Thanks for the advice and im super glad you liked it :)
