The tomatoes are very unforgiving haha. I had a lot of fun with this one, you did a good job! The production value is very good for a jam game. The graphics are good, the sound and music is fun, I didn't encounter any bugs, everything was very intuitive. I think it could use a little balancing to make the game a bit less difficult to have multiple plants on the go at the same time. With a little more work I think this could be a very good proof of concept.\n\nSide note: your itch.io page doesn't link to your page on Ludum Dare. I found your game through Itch.io and had to find your game manually. Since Ludum Dare doesn't have a good search mechanic, it was a bit hard to find.
