Meet surrealistic creatures!

Protect something precious!

Face off against a mighty oponent!

This game may be a little too hard to learn and finish, if you are having trouble finishing it you can skip levels in the level select, but you will lose some cutscenes and dialog doing so. Also the final level is really, really hard but there's a cool reward behind it I promise!
Please look at the credits and explore the game a bit before rating the game as to know what part of the graphics I did!
It starts slow but picks up the pace fast! This is my first Game Jam ever. Thanks for checking out the game!
The "For Educational Use Only" is a Unity watermark and I hate it with all my h̷̦̕e̷͖͑a̸̟̾ȓ̵̝t̷̐͜h̸̩͆
WARNING!!!
Since the final level appears to be really hard I made a video of me beating it for those who wish to see the finale! Link below!

Good job overall!
Hello! Since some of you guys really enjoyed the game but could not beat it, I've made a video of me beating so you guys can see the finale! Is at the botton of the game page! Thanks again for playing and for the feedback!
The dialogue was great, but did drag on a bit too long. Especially with jam games, i want to get into the action immediately.
Good job.
Even if there are a few things you can adjust it really plays an important role with this kind of aesthetic.
The mechanics are pretty solid! I really enjoyed playing it!
I'm bad at hard games, but I like how the game doesn't punish you and instead it just continues.
A couple criticisms:
1) There wasn't any feedback for when I changed eyeball shooty-bang-bang-thingies, besides the highlighted menu icon at the bottom. There should be some visual representation on the eyes themselves (like a little jiggle when I switch or something) to tell me which one I'm using so that I don't have to glance at the menu and lose focus on the incoming meteors
2) The eyeballs spinning around while talking is a nice touch, but it interferes with my aim. The only time it was a problem was when miss red decided *SHE WANTED SOME NUGGETS*. I think the eyes should have reverted to their positions when the character scripts started.
3) My shots were getting misdirected by the other eyes' shots. I don't know if they were colliding or if there is some sort of magnetism, but it was certainly a slight annoyance.
Other than that, there were a few grammar issues, but nothing terrible. Overall, well done!
I zoned out to be honest, it's a game that really puts you in a state of flow. Thank you for your entry !
What i would've liked is to bind each eyeball color to a different button instead of scrolling through them. For example J is red K is green and so on. Another thing that would be cool is powerups that drop that maybe increase fire rate or rotating rate or something.
That being said, it's still a great game, good work!
i had a rough time reading the red text but i thin'k im getting kind of blind from playing games xD
awesome narrative, great universe and characters. I love the mood of the game and it's humor too. Unique and challenging

I also enjoyed the funny text conversations, but the voice of blue and red were really annoying (specially red).
It's a great idea and the game was fun to play, while I also appreciate the fact that difficulty went up smoothly.
Definitely going to get some nuggets now, though.

My favorite part of this game is that - on the surface - the main mechanic appears simple and understandable... One might take a look at it and think that they may be about to play something familiar and approach it casually.
But the game is full of surprises - thinking about the rotations of each weapons, the direction of the rotation, the color of each weapon... and also remembering which weapon I have *equipped*; it forced my brain to think in ways that not many video games have. There is no muscle memory here - a brand new skill to learn. Fun!
And on top of that, there's a whole delightful narrative to follow throughout!
I think some "quality of life" improvements could push this game even further: Add a highlight to indicate which weapon the player has equipped so they do not have to take their eyes off the play area. Maybe add some logic to the random color changes so the asteroids will not change "red" or "blue" after it has passed the distance that it can be hit by those weapons.
Thank you so much for sharing this wacky game
Edit: Got excited, added you anyway, good job!!!!
Does this prove it?

I liked the audio and humor. Besides that, I think I would add the possibility to speed up dialogues lines. Nice to see something with dialogs in a game jam!
It would love to play it on a gamepad with colors of the eyes assigning to the colors of A-X-B-Y on xBox controller. But then, it might game been to easy that way.
And I had some problems spotting blue meteorites - no problems with green and red, thou. Maybe some glow about it would help?
Anyway, this is the most fun game I have tried so far on LD!
Best,
Anna from 4boa team
It was a just the amount of difficult  Keep on making awesome games!

The text was very slow, which I did not enjoy.
Other than that good job I liked playing it :)
Impressive solo job!
My brain hurt, otherwise I would have played it for longer, feels like there's some interesting stuff that I missed. Great entry!
Here's my playthrough of it: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/600651093

The mechanics keeps the player focused and the dialogues between the eyes are hilarious. Loved the alien language touch.
Excellent work

My finger movement rate wasn't quite enough to pass level 4, but that mostly felt like personal struggle, as the difficulty curve was quite nice.
Some more consistency in art style would make the game more pleasing, but it still works nicely for a game jam.
As for the audio, simple and effective.

It has that arcade feel, but switching can be a hassle. There could be ways to make it more intuitive. Or even turn it into a local multiplayer, when several people can play at the same time.
The text boxes felt a bit slow, but besides that a really fun game.
Really nice entry! congratulations! You can have some n̢̛͎̠̲̬̫͐͆̍͊͟͠ȗ̷̗̺̻̫͚̔͊͌̇̋͘͘̚ͅg̷̫͍͙̼͙̪͇̦̼̙̽͌̈̇̈́͝ḡ̡͖̜͙̬͈͙͚̿̒̌́̈́ȩ̨̛̦̻̊̅̎̐̎̀̒̓̀͟t̴̡̛̹̫̝̟̩̪̫̋̍́̊̾̇̔̉́s̵̡̮̲͙̳̑͋̑͋̚̚͞ͅ now hahaha

The gameplay was fun. I had to adjust with the character switching each time I got a new character. Maybe the ability to select the character with numbers would help with that (like changing weapons in an fps with the numbers keys instead of scrolling).
Also thanks for playing our game in your stream.
I fell like you may be refering about the interruption dialog in level 3, I made that one to be annoying and interrupt the player, so it repeats every time you play level 3, but that is the only one with that intention.
I did it all by myself
