The year is 4XX0 and the Earth has known for some time that we are not alone in the universe.

After a series of blunders that some key diplomats have referred to as “funny at the time, really,” the Earth is now facing an imminent threat from a Always Busting Beats Aliens (ABBA for short) forces.

A coalition of nations have put together the resources for THE SHIELD to deflect this attack. You, the person with the keys to THE SHIELD, are Earth’s last line of defense.

Unfortunately, you were on break when the orders came in, and space ships have already surrounded the Earth. THE SHIELD’s power supplies were damaged trying to speed up the process, and you’ll have to work to keep it operational.

While the alien forces do not plan on subjugating the Earth, they do intend to blare their music from every mountain and hilltop, which would have unforeseen effects on productivity.

Fortunately, while you have no weapons, you can direct the incoming formations. If 16 spaceships enter a horizontal line, they become confused and scatter.

120 seconds. That's how long you need to keep the alien forces distracted while THE SHIELD gains full power.

Instructions: Use UP ARROW to rotate ships. Use LEFT or RIGHT ARROWS to move ships left/right. Use DOWN to force ships to fall faster. Use P or ESC to pause the game.

I like the dance party at the end! Unfortunately I couldn't hear the music in this game.

Yeah the dance party was nice. The games mechanics itself I think I have seen before somewhere.. but the dancing alien bunch made it a cheerful puzzling experience.

(btw: To get more ratings you need to play and rate games yourself, so you get visible in the lists and get the required 20 ratings for a score at the end.. was hard to find your game in the zero ratings category..)
