Wow! Such a cool take on the theme of stuck in a loop. Loved the art style and how cinematic the game felt to play. I liked the use of pushing rather than attacking with a gun or sword and all the animations for the enemies and player. I wish the game had like a little cutscene for winning rather than just saying restart but it didn't take away from the game too much. Amazing work!

Must the most polished game so far that I have encountered in the jam. I really love the art, music and the overall feel of the game. The controls are also top notch. The last wave is pretty hard :D

This feels really good, the music and art is awesome !
Controls are a bit messy, you can map ZQSD, WASD, OKLM at the same time to move and use clicks / space to attack :)

I like you have a break between waves !

@nelow Thanks for the feedback! We'll likely add support for different keyboard layouts and some other control options once we have a chance.

This is a really cool one! The art helped this entry a lot! The music selection was also a great mood setter. Really great job all around! It fit the theme and it felt like a section in a beat em up stage. Wish there was a little more to it though, change in stage layout, different attacks, abilities, points to collect, more than two enemies and such. But it was short and sweet so this gets an A from me. Great work.

Astonishing. That's some quality game all right. Very very polished and professional looking. And an awesome game play flow. One can tell that that's not your first time implementing such game mechanics :) I gotta say, especially the art is jaw dropping. I can't believe that you had just one artist working on it. That must've been a hellride to get this kind of quality out of a person in three days. Give that man a medal! But that's not all... The score is a banger too. So much talent combined in this little game :) I don't have any complaints code wise as well. The game runs smooth and I encountered no bugs. But I still have a couple of suggestions that you might wanna look into: The controls were a little floaty and very sensitive. The jump height was also huuuge. So going all over the place with a few key inputs was happening a lot. Nothing too grave, maybe it's even just a preference thing.

All in all: Awesome Work! Congrats

@duke Thanks for the detailed feedback! Surprisingly this is the first time we've done a game like this (platformer). Our artist and musician are great! Also, I can see the reasons for the suggestions on the controls. The jump can be a bit tighter, but at the same time they were made high on purpose to always be able to reach the clowns and jump onto the horses. There's probably a better middle ground we can find for this to still keep the functionality while making it feel snappier. We appreciate your time for playing though! Cheers!

Heya! Thanks for submitting your game to my stream at [wwww.twitch.tv/drjavasaurus](www.twitch.tv/drjavasaurus). This concept is simply brilliant. It fits perfectly well with not only the theme, but also with the mechanics, the audio, the graphics, ... It just feels finished. Very responsive controls, making every loss feel fair. I really enjoyed this one, short game but extremely efficiently brought ! Love it.

A truly masterpiece, indeed! Your game is awesome in all aspects, and could easily turn into a full game with more levels and be published to sale on some other platforms, like Steam, Itchio, Gamejolt, etc. Congratulations!

amazing graphics and sound as always! as for gameplay there isnt much room for interesting choices and theres a huge lack of feedback, im often caught waiting to see if i really hit a zombie or not. if theres a sound for hitting the zombies it should be louder, when zombies pile inside of eachother it becomes impossible to attack them without getting hit, aside from that great submission! feels like playing a piece of pixel art!

Wow this is so good! Your team clearly knows how to work well together. I think I'm going to check out the development log on Twitch and see if there's any part of your process I can steal, because you guys know what you're doing (do you have days 1 and 2 up? I only see day 3). Awesome job, keep it up!

Ditto what everyone else said, great game all around. I didn't beat it the first few times I played it so I had to come back and beat it today. It was surprising easy to beat today on first try without taking damage. I'm thinking it must have a nice progression of the player understanding what to do the first few times they play and gets easier the more you play. I found myself wishing the carousel changed directions between stages.

@codertrevor Ahhh unfortunately, it seems like the Twitch vods expired. We do have the streams saved locally though. We are thinking of maybe doing a little dev log video on it at some point in the future. We also do normal game dev streams Tuesday/Thursday 8PM PST if you're interested.

Incredible how polish is this game for a Jam! All is perfect! Sound, animation, control, design. Whaou. Good idea the carousel for the loop. It's funny to scare the zombies, even if we are scared too. I find the game a bit difficult. Because at one time there's so much ennemies on a small place. But I'm very impressed by the quality of this entry! Congratulation!
