I'm very sorry about the web version crashing for some people, I'm not sure what's causing it. But as far as I can tell, the download version runs without any issues.

Right mouse button doesn't seem to work in the web version. Hope you're able to fix it! -- I like that it feels like dungeon keeper for ants. -- I didn't like that pressing 'r' by mistake threw out all my progress without even thinking about it. Also the inventory for the ants was confusing to figure out, and trying to click on things at the bottom and having it mess up where my view was was frustrating. -- Very cool entry overall though. 👍🏻👍🏻

Great entry! The two-layered approach was a nice twist on an otherwise (imo) stale genre. Controlling the points of entry for the anthill adds an interesting bit of strategy.

An ant-teresting take. "Just one more turn" of a season is strong.

Great entry and lot of interestings mechanics. My only gripe was the inventory, a little bit confusing (but that's just a nitpick) ! You should continue working on it, it's very promising.

Dude I'm blown away by this game

The gameplay is relatively simple but incredibly addicting (i think it's the upgrades that do it for me)

Unfortunately my game froze twice in a row, so I never got to play. Which is a shame, since I've always been a big fan of Dungeon Keeper'esque games

A very complex and engaging strategy game, thoroughly impressive for a game jam. Unfortunately, it did freeze on me after only a few minutes of normal play, but that didn't take away from what I mentioned earlier, or the top notch graphics. Good work.

I was going to play a bunch of games on my lunch break, but I spent all the time I had off playing this one. The game is well balanced, the power-ups and abilities were fun to combine, I need to get back to work but it's still open and now i don't want to give up my setup so thanks a lot for killing my productivity. :ant:

This is crazy fun. One of the best defense type games I've played in a long time.

A five stars game for me. Impressive work on the smoothness of the gameplay and the amount of content that you managed to put for the jam. Base building, upgrades, wave progression. I also got impressed by the AI of the ants, they work surprisingly well and balanced. When I saw "a big wave is coming" (or something like that) I thought it would be instant game over due to unbalance and dumb AI, but it was quite the opposite, the ants managed very well, that's when the game surprised me.

Also points for being a Godot game (I also used Godot, the engine of my  ). Excuse that I'll now _take a look at your code to check the AI_.

The web version crashed on load for me, just played a sound affect over and over and soft-locked by browser.
Your Mac version doesn't work, but I managed to fix it. Here's the disk image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yrei8mgpp2jiehf/Antourage.dmg?dl=0
Graphics and sound are amazing. I like both the concept and the execution.
Controls/UI could use a bit of work. WASD was suppose to move the screen but sometimes moving my mouse to the edge moved it as well, sometimes not. I also couldn't find a way to pause/quit/restart the game. The game crashed as I was starting my second play.
I definitely thing you should polish this up a bit and keep working, it's pretty good.

Your game has big chances for ranking at the top of the Jam, but I can see you are pretty low right now because of the lack of votes given (the Karma system).

Please vote other games!!!!!

You need way more ratings than you have right now, and this game is one of the best I saw..
It's really polished mechanics are really solid, the art style is fantastic and everything fits well together, this is a great TD.

So do me a favor and rate other games so you can get more ratings, because this game needs way more attention, well done.

This game is one of the best games I've played from Ludum Dare! It's truly well polished and has very interesting mechanics. The audio could've been more fitting even though it was good, and I felt a bit lost at times, maybe tutorial could've helped? Anyway audio was still good and I got the hang of it fairly quickly. It was really fun in the beginning, but I wish the pace would increase, or that it didn't take longer to get upgrades or whatever. That way the game would've truly felt like an ant colony. All in all; great mechanics, amazing AI, well polished, great graphics, good audio, emersive for the most part, and just a great game!

I died at 70 ant years. All ants seems to die at the same die.

Really spent a good amount of good time on your game. Thanks for it.

Had no issue with the web version on my side.

You almost made the whole ant sim game and combined it with some tower defense, very nice!
