Cheater
Cheater is a short action platform game where you introduce "code" to enable the functions of the game.
As the theme for LDJAM 45 was "Start with nothing", we had the idea of "coding" your own game from nothing. That is why the game starts with NOTHING but a rudimentary interface. An AI will help you with some advice about what to code and in some cases do the coding for you.
Once you familiarized with the game, you can play with the mechanics of the game and aim for a high score.



List of Commands
So here a list of commands you can use to make the game more challenging.
/map - Generates map.
/player - Generates Player.
/move - Enables movement.
/jump - Enables jump.
/attack - Enables attacks.
/enemies - Randomly spawns all kind of enemies.
/game over – Takes you to the game over screen.
/music - Starts music.
/reset - Restart the game.
/infinite lives - Gives you infinite lives.
/random - In a determined amount of time one of the actions randomly turns off and on.
/virus - Mixes the controls (Left = right).
/all commands –Activates all commands.
/chaos – More enemies are spawn and the re-spawn delay becomes shorter.
/shut down – Closes the game.
Ludum Dare 45 is our first LDJAM. So we're really looking forward to your feedback.

Some angles still not polished, but of course, they are, it is a jam game.
But to provide a "playtester feedback", cause it might be useful, I'll point them out:
- When you stay on platform very edge you kind of can not jump, am I right? I used to it from the first catch and never did it after I saw this. It looks like unnecessary or unfinished feature.
- Rocket thing is really not similar to other enemies' visual style. First time I thought that it might be a power-up and tried to pick it up.
- /music automatically launches after /enemies even if it is already launched.
My best score was 10500 I think. The game said that I am awesome. :3
In general, I can say that this is not only a good entry, but you are also really good at creating a mood. And a full game with such an atmosphere can look really interesting. :3

We tried to go with a single game flow. Like you said, setting an atmosphere. And from there just give the player a few tools/dynamics to enjoy the game, even if it's a little short experience.
Kind of went for the fun factor, so even thought we have some bugs and it's not really polished, we tried to make in a way the player can still have fun with it.
Know is time to check the feedback and try to fix as much as possible, so your feedback it's precious to us!
