Something which is completely understandable for a jam game but should be removed is the complete randomness of the events. Since they affect your progress so much, it means the end growth of your tree (after 100 years) is going to be mostly random, which isn't such a great feeling for the player.
I really like graphics.
1. The sprites you created are quite good but you used different pixel per world size for each of them. Keep in mind that if you are using pixel art make sure each pixel of the sprites on the screen looks the same size. This way you will get a more consistent look.
2. The game is too easy. It rains too often that I don't even need to bother killing evil humans for years since the rain is going to restore the missing health so soon. If you are going to improve upon this game idea, you need to come up with a solution to increase the challenge level of the game. Because some people are going to like this game and play it a lot and they will be bored before the play it a lot happens if it is too easy.
A side from those two I think your game is great! Nice work!
Thank you for making this game!

We intended to have more depth into the design initially, but due to lack of time, we decided to make it simple and heavily depends on luck, so that the game is at least playable.
Thank you for all of your feedback!
