Oh wow, those enemies move incredibly fast. I wasn't able to survive very long, and I never stood a fraction of a chance when they were on screen. I'm assuming they aren't supposed to move that fast, and are probably moving x distance per frame, rather than x distance over y time. If this is the case, multiply the enemy speed with Time.deltaTime; This make sure the enemies move at the same speed regardless of framerate.

Other than that, i really enjoyed it. I was pleasantly surprised to see my blob grow eyes and "evolve". Nice work, and congrats on your first Ludum Dare!

It took me a while to figure out to click on the bars to activate the powerup. I tried 2 browsers thinking Chrome waas messing up the layering. But yeah, the enemies seem a little too aggressive but cool game

I enjoyed the feel of the character movement, but it was way too sluggish and heavy to at all compete with giant one shot kill enemies moving at that speed. Reminded me a lot the first phase of spore. Good entry!

This was kind of fun, I liked getting lots of eyes and arms. The enemies are too fast though and kill you instantly, so it feels a little unfair. I think the upgrade that makes you bigger should also give you extra hits, because right now it's kind of pointless (it just makes you a bigger target).

Cool idea. Good soundtrack. The way eyes get added to the blob is funny. However, I think it would have been better not to die instantly when getting hit by an enemy. At least not after evolving a few times.

These little flippers are so adorable!

I couldn't dodge the enemies at all. I love how the food pellets work as landmines, and you're safer leaving them than feeding. It's a nice tradeoff.

The evolution sprites were very cool. I liked the tactic of waiting for big enemies to smash single pickups into like 10 pickups! Music was nice too. :slight_smile:

I didn't get it why my hp keeps decreasing even if I don't touch anything. Other than that I had a lot of fun. Good job!
