Description

In this game you control a wooden cart and you must use it to safely carry an egg to the finish line as fast as possible ! But be careful, because the egg will break if you drop it to the ground!

In order to clear a level you need to bring both the cart and the egg to the finish line!

Keys

A-D (or left and right arrows) : Move the cart while on the ground or rotate it when it's in the air.
R : Restart current level.
Escape : Go back to the main menu.

Fairly fun, very similar to another LD46 game I played except in 2D. My main critique is that rotating in air either doesn't work or is a very minor effect, which makes it extremely hard past level 1.

Looks good, feels good. I want to see some speedruns where the egg is launched into the air on the first hill then caught at the end of the level.

L'idée marche super bien et est bien exécutée ! Les graphismes sont top, le fond donne un aspect broderie très sympa :). La courbe de difficulté est bien gérée c'était cool !

Je fais partie des joueurs trouvant le sens de rotation "inversé" quand on est dans les airs par rapport à la normale (Aux jeux habituels). Et j'avoue que j'aurais bien aimé me rappeler que le bouton R relance le niveau (Une fois le jeu lancé en plein écran, la flemme d'en partir pour vérifier sur le site).

Sinon le thème est parfaitement utilisé, bien ancré dans le feeling constant, en plus d'être l'objectif.

Et mis à part mon gros problème de contrôles, c'est vraiment très propre, et surtout très sympa à jouer. *pouce en l'air*

This was Eggcellent! Did someone make that joke already?

I think the whole package works. The graphics and sound design gets the job done even if it isn't flashy and the minimal parallax background scrolling works well. The feeling of going over a ramp, having the egg floating just above your wagon and trying to catch it while maintaining your speed is wonderful.

This was a fun game! :D I liked it, it was fun and challenging, but I would like some background music, and maybe reduce de volume or tone of the egg bpuncing around, my ears got pretty tired of that sound! :c

Nice game, the art it's really good, and the sound it's relaxing, maybe you can add some kind of signal when the egg is off screen so you have the opportunity to catch it again

This was a wonderfully challenging game. The physics were spot on fantastic, the parallax of the beautiful background pixel art added a great depth to the environment, and the sounds were sufficient to give the player a bit of game feel to hear the actions had a way to keep you aware of your eggs movement as you navigate the stages.
You had some very nice staggered stages to show the players all the possibilities, and give them different levels of challenge. I applaud the game, and its developer.

That said, I have to say the mechanics to have you move the cart while pretty well balanced as a buildup for movement were good, but the mechanics for when in the air (including if any of the wheels left the ground) were backwards and not at all intuitive. They gradual way the cart spins clockwise or counter clockwise was not balanced for this game.
I sometimes felt like i was playing "Getting Over it with Bennett Foddy", in how rage inducing the odd cart spin could be. Funny at time but enraging at over times.
Also a possible neat feature maybe a zoom out on the screen when the egg goes higher than you can see to allow or fool the player into trying to catch it.
Just my thoughts, Cheers to a good game.

Good idea. My tips for improvement:
- Switch the a and d key for tilting mid air
- implemnt some "enemy" that chases you, then you would hit the theme even more.

Aaaand there goes my afternoon. I spent a lot of time with it but I didn't get past level 6. Anyway this is really fun, simple as it is. Great job!

Got to level 6 after a lot of tries but very fun and great mini-game !
Fits the theme well and has good replayability. Would definitely see a game like this on the app store :)

I love it! its kinda like Trials.... but with eggs. Very smooth controls, and satisfying to play. Everything is kept nice and simple, which works well, but a touch of music would be nice. Awesome game.

I would prefer if the egg can touch the floor one time and bounce before loose the level but...well realized.

Nice take on the theme! I would perhaps think of some at least minor damage to the egg even while catching it into the wagon, since it can fly really high or far :) But this is hardly a complaint, really sweet idea that is executed very well! Great job!

Really funny game! Hard but in a good way, I liked to learn the layout of each levels and the little tricks to pass each bump! I didn't have any issue with the control, the inversed mapping didn't bother me
