This is actually pretty good! Second level is quiet balanced, passed it with like 5th try

I had trouble with the second stage, it was so hard! When the game started, I also didn't know what to do since there were no instructions. I spent a minute clicking around and tapping the arrow keys before I realized that the character moved on its own. It's a fun game, though.

@frances Thanks for the feedback! With some more time I could have made a better intro and probably a few more levels in between 1 and 2 for a better progression. We'll see if I do something more post-compo :)

@corporation Thanks! Would have been good with one more level between first and second maybe but glad you managed! In the lack of time I still wanted to get a fair challenge in there to explore the mechanics more.

I really liked being able to grab and move rocks! the game was really intuitive and pretty fun. I think it is a great proof of concept for a full game!

Cute little game:) The art was friendly, music was fitting. Some sound effects would be a nice touch.

thanks @peto184  I was really hoping to get at least a jump sound in but had to focus on wrapping the other parts up, since I only had 24h time to spend this time. Maybe I'll add it post-compo :stuck_out_tongue: Thanks for playing!

@ethebakesmith Thanks, glad you liked it! I was also planning for other mechanics like projectiles and traps aimed at Mr Pinky that you either need to block the attack or block Mr Pinky to get the right timing. Maybe this could be extended into a full game some day

I really liked it, played.
Seemed easy at the beginning, until I found the nasty red spikes.
Cool idea man.

I loved that! While it was a bit short the mechanics felt great and the music was lovely :) Would love to see more of this!!

Great concept! Gameplay was intuitive and level design was clever. A bit short--but hey, I know what it's like to make a game in 48 hours, haha. The idea could definitely be expanded: it could be pretty interesting to be able to move around bumpers, collectables, enemies, ladders... Music was catchy. Overall, good job! :D

@hakro @geryon-games @squeg-inc @thomas-bringer Thanks a lot for your feedback and taking the time to play! Gets me motivated to do something more with this

This is such a great game! I think you've got a very creative take on the theme, and the presentation values are phenomenal! My only gripe is that, since the camera is always moving, it can be hard to accurately control where blocks are going to end up.

Great idea! Kinda reminds me of one of the Rayman WiiU games tablet part. Love it!

@niterich thanks for the good words! Yeah I agree with you about the part that it's hard to control when the screen moves. And I don't have any good idea for fixing it (yet). The main issue is of course when he's standing on the object you're dragging, which causes sudden acceleration. While typing this I realized that maybe tweaking the cam follow to be smoother might help

@anchoredtoad Thank you :)

I liked it a lot! It was a bit hard to move the rock when the screen was moving, but overall it was a lot of fun! I especially liked the music. It was very catchy.

Wonderful idea, and well executed! Smooth gameplay and intuitive design. I felt really compelled to keep Pinky going, even after dying, there was always a chance to try again. Would love to see more levels!

A fun little game. Lvl1 felt like a puzzle game while Lvl2 felt more like a reaction game, although somehow I managed to make it on my first try! Kinda wish there was more levels, but good job nonetheless :)

Very pleasant game. A bit short but as you could not work on it a whole day, that is normal. The game mechanic is clever and can be deepened and scaled for a whole featured game. Nice entry

What a sweet little game. The graphics/music was very cute and fit well :). Only complaint would be that sometimes it was a little hard to tell what you were supposed to do, like the second rock, I thought I was supposed to build a bridge not let it jump in a hole. Either way, I got through it :).
Happy to help, Mr Pinky.

@hjalte Thanks :) The first level is more of a tutorial so the bridge stone can be solved either way and you don't get punished by falling down. I was hoping to add more levels to really explore the mechanics more, but we'll see maybe I get the time in the future :) Thanks!

Very cool game.
With me moving the stones I had the feeling to keep the little one alive.
Great work.

Impressive! I really like the concept and the way it plays.
The only problem is spotting the dangers and objects in time to react. Having the blob further back might solve the issue. It could also do with some sound effects.

What a charming little game  I thought it was really cool how the pathfinding gave a personality to Mr Pinky; they way he always bounces along merrily then pauses when he reaches a different obstacle. First level was a good tutorial and the second a reasonably paced challenge. Bravo!

@super-hadoken Thanks a lot! Good idea to put the camera a bit more ahead. I was experimenting with zooming out the camera more but also wanted to keep the character focused. I think your suggestion solves both of that!

I really liked the concept, it was fun and interesting, I hope you make a few more levels so that you can expand that concept a little bit more. Nice game!

Really nice and simple game, and cute too  Some sound effects would have been nice, but not having them didn't detract from the fun.

nice game! there were times where I accidentally move the rock and the spikes would kill the little guy. needs more sfx to make it more squishy and satisfying

I also included your game in my video. hope you like it!

Really like the whole concept, it's a fun little mechanic and the level design is good. Mr Pinky did seem to pause at times mid jump though :/ The art and music worked nicely. Good job :D

Very cool concept and idea, I find it a bit complicated that the player can't see a lot in front of Mr Pinky, so I had to know the level to be able to solve it.. Maybe It could have been good to move MrPinky a bit more at left or unzoom. Except this, itwas very cool, well done !
