Untitled Narrative Game by nialljtaylor
Untitled Narrative Game is a game about keeping relationships alive, despite an alien threat keeping you in place.

Use your SpiriTech Messenger and Call systems to find and nurture what few connections you can, for surely being alone is better than being forgotten.

Built for Ludum Dare 46, Untitled Narrative Game is an overambitious attempt at combining resource management with a visual novel. It has been flagged for additional development.
The game is very unfinished, but demonstrates some of the gameplay systems that the full game would employ - instant messaging and phonecalls with a colourful and eerie cast of characters, as well as exploring your environment and learning more about the world. We plan for the final game design to be a combination of Gone Home, Kind Words and Hollow Knight.
We have opted out of graphics and audio. Lighting, level design, character and animations were all created by us during the jam. Most environment assets (rocks, foliage) are either pre-existing assets we built (pre-jam), or freely available on various asset stores. Audio is a roughly 50/50 split between bespoke and preexisting assets. GUI was designed but not implemented, and uses Unity and Fungus standard.
Thank you for taking the time to play and rate!

well done !
@unreality @baptiste-guerin Understandable - there isn't anything to do apart from the initial conversations. We were over ambitious and ran out of time! Only uploaded because, well, why not!
Will update description to reflect.
Very moody in a good way.
