@int Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed the game! I agree with you on the claws lacking animations - I think that was a critical point that I did not address and should have done so while I had the chance.
I did it...
@pedrohph Thanks! I'm getting a lot of similar feedback so I might just get to it someday in the future. Depending on how it goes then.
@ds-nahogara Hahaha thanks! I am very humbled that you love the game so much. I also enjoyed making the game myself and have learned alot in making and implementing art in a game!
@adil Thanks for playing the game! I understand where you are coming from, especially as a PC idle game. I appreciate you taking your time playing though!
@int You mad lad actually did it. The ending was meant to be a reflection as to whether the entire experience was worth it. There is actually another (and easier) ending in this game about escaping this loop instead. Regardless, as a dev, there is a joy that is hard to express seeing other people complete your game. I am overjoyed to see you enjoy it so much. Thank you!
@redunca Thanks for the nice words! The sounds are made with sfxr, the very software that they recommend to generate sound effects. It works very well for the kind of game I'm making here!
The encouraging messages are a little annoying and started to bug after a while.
The art does a lot to sell the whole vibe, I love the little bit of.. parallax?, you've got going on as you look around your office. One tiny nitpick: I'd have appreciated if you used a monospace font for the numbers, it makes it a little awkward to tell how much money you've got at a glance, when a 1 can make it so much shorter than other numbers.
When I started writing this, I was really curious what items would be trash and what would be saved. Having thought about it some more though, I think you made the right call in having it be arbitrary from moment to moment. Boy did I ever feel bad for actually getting the promotion.
@tuatarian Thanks for taking your time to play! Yeah I do understand where you're coming from in terms of the lack of gameplay/content. If I ever make a full port or post-jam version, I will look into making a better gameplay experience!
@mathemagician Thanks for taking your time to play ( and finish! ) my game! I'm personally really proud of the art I did in the small amount of time I had to make the game. I appreciate the small nitpicks you gave me as it helps me improve the game where I can (or in the future games I make).
I'm also very glad you got the message I was trying to hint at with my take on this theme. I was quite worried it would be too nuanced, or tucked away behind the gameplay.
unfortunately, the text bugged out and rendered vertically, letter-by letter (I think due to the text container showing up for a second and immediately disappearing), so I couldn't really read what the ending was : (
This was great! Excellent mood, it really made you feel stuck in a loop. The art style was perfect, and it + the constant "encouragement" feels like you were just stuck in this dreadful corporate machine.
@dxk2294 Truly the satisfaction of idle games never end. I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
@layne-stokes Thanks for your kind words! That's a new glitch I've never heard of, I think I will look into it during my post-jam development.
I tried Firefox and Safari, and on both the progress bar just stops.
Hope you get a million ratings tho :hugging:
But in general a good looking and sounding game.
Well Done
@bunkai Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely consider it looking towards in future development!
@netmute Heya, I went ahead and quickly compiled a windows build so its now available in the itch.io website to grab if you're still down to try!
@deathstorm Hey thanks for the feedback! I think I will continue to consider upgrades to increase arm speed as well if I sit down to work on it!
Your comment simply strengthened my beliefs and I feel like if I take this game further, I need to re-frame the entire game design possibly.
Big thanks!
I also found the clicking aspect to be a little tiresome. I understand that you're supposed to be a mindless drone, but it would've also been cool to buy upgrades later that speed up my claw movement, or add a blast force to the object I'm dropping to speed up its fall. In fact, adding a bunch of dynamic movement and control to the claw (like having to use the mouse to grab and fling things around into the right boxes in a factory) could add a really entertaining control scheme to the clicking part of the game, which could solve the problem of idleness between clicks that people are talking about above.
I like the graphics and the styling too, and in an expanded version of this, I'd love to see more world building and story in terms of the corporation and its boss, as well as more use for the building map. So there's definitely something cool here, nice work!
@yword Thanks so much! I'll consider the suggestion when I work on the game in the future if I do!
Question: does the map at the beginning have any purpose besides for the story? (I didn't made it to the end so that might be a dumb question) Also, it could be nice to see other decors, or more various objects to manipulate!
One thing I didn't get was why the camera moves with your mouse. I think it's to add a little polish, but it moves so lightly that it's almost like the screen is shaking so it feels weird. The map is also weirdly empty, I thought I was gonna unlock something with the Game Packages upgrade but that didn't look like it did anything at all.
In general it was really fun, I just love idle games a lot!
And you are correct: the map DOES have a purpose for the alternate ending. Regretabbly I just no longer have the time to pursue populating the map. So that's unfortunate. Thanks for playing though!
@fupi Your concerns are well documented, rest assured! I'll have a think on the camera think, I had a feeling it was too little of an effect to really work effectively - so thanks for really solidifying my hunches! Really glad you enjoyed my humble game!
@djayne Nothing like a nice warm cup of **Get back to Work, #1000789** to start the day! Glad you enjoyed the game!
Looks really polished, but unfortunately I didn't feel incentive to keep after the first few upgrades, like the game was missing something ... But I definitely think you built really strong foundations !
And boy did you really hit the nail on the theme :,) !
Congratz on the submission !

I poked around the Unity forums for a bit, and the good news is you can fix it. Try to turn off "data caching" in the publishing settings in WebGL's player settings.
Hope that helps
@olivier-millochau The truth is, you have obtained the true ending by breaking away from the loop. *wink* Nevertheless, glad you enjoy the game! *The company will always welcome you, #1000789*
@bokonon Welcome to the sinkhole that is idle games! hahaha
Glad you loved the game a lot!!
@netmute Hey thanks for going so far even to probe into the issue on my behalf! I really appreciate your gesture a lot. I went ahead and disabled data caching on the webGL build now so you are free to try it in your free time. I do hope it works now.
Ah, the clicker. Nothing more satisfying than making numbers go up, then use the numbers to make numbers go up faster. The human brain is a funny one.
This type of game fits the theme perfectly  And the subtle irony of a robot arm throwing away time and batteries is not lost on me.
This, disturbingly, was a lot of fun  Well done!

@netmute **You are doing nothing but exemplary work, #1000789. Take your promotion in pride.**
I'm really glad it worked and you loved it a lot!
Ya! I'm a good employee. That x1000 to x50000 was way too fast to get but I can understand that you did it so people don't go towards promotion before getting all upgrades. And I can say that this is more interesting than my current day job.
I definitely felt this job to be mind numbingly repetitive.
Yet somehow it kept me engaged until the very end!
the only nitpick I'd have would be about the font used for the numbers.
It'd have been easier to read with all character being the same width (especially towards the end).
@gamedev-and-architecture Thanks! Really happy you enjoyed the game! I'll keep your words into consideration regarding the character width. I'll definitely have to look up how to make that happen.
@chesschaser Thanks! Really glad you enjoyed the game (and all its addictiveness hehehehehe)
@forgeronstudio Hey, glad to see you like it! If you like my work alot, I am most active on my twitter which you can follow [here](https://twitter.com/SteventusGames)
To nitpick, I did find the ramp up and gameplay a bit too slow compared to idle games that I'm used too, and the TV sound was a bit harsh for the relaxing/methodic idle play I expected.

@elemental-zeal-game-studios Hey thanks for the feedback! I've never thought of the tv sound to be too harsh but I will definitely take your words into consideration.
@karin-g Thanks for playing the game!! Really appreciate it, yeah unfortunately that was a bug in the game and I haven't gotten around to fixing it yet.
@harrm Thanks a lot! Glad you like it!
@guimoliveira Hey thanks! Glad you love it so much!

I was always tempted to go idle and leave it alone, but every time I got some money, I was always close to the active upgrade (microtransaction) so I felt obligated to buy that and play manually for a while to be efficient haha.
I actually really like the screen movement. It gives some kind of feeling to an otherwise static looking screen. I'm gonna have to borrow that idea for similar stuff, I didn't realize it'd be so effective.
Nice entry, it can be hard to innovate in the incremental genre but you have a really unique presentation!
PS. I saw that you like hard games in your profile. You might like my entry this jam :)
@super-hadoken Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the game alot!
@dev-dwarf Thanks so much for your kind words!
@peachtreeoath Hey thanks a lot for your feedback! I really appreciate it! And you're right that I like hard games, I don't mind checking your game out.
In my opinion, that's the hallmark of a good idle game right there.
I liked the look and personality of this one, and the exponential mechanics are exactly what I enjoy in games like this.
Very nicely done, I liked this one a lot!
Hey but on another note, I can't believe you actually went all the way for the promotion ON STREAM. It's an idle game for a reason hence I never really submitted the game for any streamers.
Glad you guys enjoy this nonsensical game. Just glancing over the stream I figured I needed to somehow make the game run in background when you click off. It's something that's probably essential in an idle game. Thanks for playing my game man! Appreciate it!
@sophiemae0 Hey thanks! Glad you love it a lot! The art and mood was something I worked on for a long time!
