Local 4-player racing game
The game embedded on this page is the post-jam version.
Controls:
Players have one button for turning and one button for using abilities on the ability wheel. The abilities are a speed Boost, a Boomerang, a Pulse that pushes away drivers near the user, and Spin-Up (increases the speed of all other players' ability wheel).
Turning/Ability
Player 1: q/w
Player 2: c/v
Player 3: m/,
Player 4: [/]
On an XBox controller, press the A button to turn and press the X button to use abilities.
Features in the post-jam version that we really wanted in the jam version:
- Vehicles, far in the lead, GROW!
- Camera follow behaviour vastly improved.
- Added UI to show 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place during race.
Issues fixed in the post-jam version:
- Fixed bug where vehicles were always receiving friction from the dirt while on the racetrack.
- Lap music transtions fixed.
- In-game UI scales properly.
- Pulse ability appears correctly.
- Gamepad input fixed.
- Balanced audio. (The soundtrack was drowning out sound effects and voice-overs)
- Download size reduced.

The WebGL version hits an out of memory crash!
@kirbytails - I'm glad you liked it!
Thank you for confirming my suspicion about the WebGL version. The Post-Jam WebGL version shouldn't crash now. I'll try to fix that for the original version too.
