Isle of Light by Lexi89
Crack open some rum and sit by the fire on the Isle of Light :fire:
Survive on this mini paradise with stuff that gets washed ashore.
Keep the fire lit, cook food, boil water, and don’t forget to put on the tunes.
Oh, and watch out for crabs :crab:
Move - WASD. SPACE for everything else

Change Log: Fixed a small bug where crabs weren't picking up objects

Some additional ideas:
- draw footprints on the sand from characters: makes your island even more alive and helps the player guiding his eyes to running crabs that are maybe already hiding in the shadows.
- play more with color and light for floating items that are approaching your island. for example you could highlight items with light sources (old oil lamps, fireflies etc.).
- more advanced gameplay ideas: you could play more with the principle of shadows and the behavior of your character (crabs maybe want to move in shadow or behave differently in the shadow). then you could bring the position of the light as a new gameplay element (the player maybe can make torches and needs to place them in certain strategical positions to control the enlightening of his island).
overall really strong approach for the staging of the game, I would try to build up on that :)
This is a almost stressful since you see you food and water gauge going down relatively fast, I had no time to look for crates or so.
I really likes the tape you can play in the radio.
(I had problems running on Firefox, but it worked fine in Chrome, but a lot of WebGL games do.)
The controls were a bit slow for my taste.
I figured out bucket at first, then found a radio and a tape (nice add!), then a message in the bottle and a crab which I was able to kick (!). I searched whole beach and found nothing else to interact with, but I managed to stuck between the bottom palm tree and a rock more than once. Also the palm on the left catapulted me through the air few times and I wasn't able to move back to the ground level for a while.
I played the game more than 10 times and found nothing more to interact with. Maybe better indication where to look for something would be nice. Or a sound that something came ashore?
Best,

One thing I wished I was able to do was put down food/drink without consuming it - I would often pick up a bucket of water off the fire to make room for a fish that had washed ashore, and it felt a little bit bad to be forced to drink it when my hydration was still full.
I missed the note with instructions that had washed ashore on my first playthrough - It might be good to place that more prominently on the island, but the controls were self-explanatory enough that I didn't feel lost, despite never seeing the instructions. Good job! :)
Found it hard to survive since either wood or food goes out quickly enough, but enjoyed it nonetheless with some hawaian tapes playing in the background!
