Stonehenge Earthquake by jsonbee

[raw]
made by jsonbee for LD36 (COMPO)
Hello all!

First timer here. Learned unity while doing this. Had a lot of fun.

Gameplay / Overview:
The basic idea is a simple game with fire (a super old "technology") to try to get to the green gems.

Avoid the rocks in the earthquake. A simple hit by them could send your fireball into the sky and into the water :(

Controls: Use arrow keys to move around

This game ... I can't explain it but I kinda liked it and hated it at the same time :D. I started to get the hang of it and let the rest of the experience wash over me.... or the music drove me insane. There is something here i'm just not sure what. Sure has hell beats the pants off my first unity game.

Those rocks are such jerks! This game could be rethemed "dropped my walllet in the mosh pit." The music is fittingly frenetic for the action.

The music loop is so short it is diving me mad and the controls don't feel "tight". Unity is pretty good once you learn it and this is a nice stepping stone!

It works in chromium version 47 in 64-bit Linux, at least. Yea the music gets kinda annoying after a while, but overall the game is quite playable.

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! Simple mechanics that still offered a decent amount of challenge. We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.
