Little light on the tie in with the theme, but the game is fun! Took me a few restarts to hone a strategy that I liked, which you might want to balance around in the future. Territories don't need to be connected to the larger empire to yield their benefits, and since you can't place buildings next to or diagonal to other buildings, sacrificing the useless connectors in favor of a disjointed checkerboard empire seems like a winning bet. There's one bug I encountered a few times where on the second loop, the \"management\" UI would disappear and I couldn't figure out how to progress. Would love to see you guys take it even further!
