I liked the art style but couldnt finish the second loop so don't know if you add ghost-like creatures who follow player at later loops, they would be better than jumpscares

loved it! The graphics were well made, and I especially like the main character's design. It took me a bit to realize what I needed to do to continue to the last part, but overall the game was really good! Well done!

Nice little horror game! I had fun playing it, even though it was a bit short.

I absolutely loved the graphics! Audio was also spot on, though it was a little loud at the end. The game had just the right atmosphere for a horror game, I got actually a bit scared while playing it... Well, that's what horror games are supposed to do, right?

I sometimes had to press the E button multiple times to interact with doors, was this intentional? Other than that, I didn't notice any bugs or errors during my play.

Good job, nice to see a horror entry on this theme!

Thanks everyone for their nice comments! @fingamer interaction with the doors was little buggy, it wasn't intentional :D

You really nailed the mood there! I don't know if it was on purpose, but when it was dark, the 'E' was impossible to see. Great artwork too!

Really enjoyed this. Expanding out into the new areas was satisfying, the audio was great, and it all pulled together into nice spooky package. Great work!

Stellar pixel work, very well done! The game did an overall solid job of carrying the aesthetic in a relevant way, very spoopy. I though the mirror scare was a bit forced but otherwise this was really good!

Really nice game you mananged to get working in such a short amount of time. To be honest, horror games are not really my type but it got me a little bit hooked due to the mood it managed to create.
My criticism would be that i feel like the movement speed of the character could have been a little bit faster but i guess it might ruin the atmosphere. The music and the art are really on point and really do make the game feel polished.
I was not a big fan of the mirror scary jump but i guess that s just the way most scary games are now.
Keep up working on games and hope to see you at a indie convention with the sequel!

Really neat art style, and the sound effects and music really brings it all together! The contrast of the cutesy player character and the dark mood of the game made this entry really stick out. Well done!

Very nice atmosphere, it really made the game creepy. I really liked the art style too. I did find the jump to be pretty useless though. I feel like the game didn't really need a jump function.

It is very well done. I don't really like screamers, but well it worked I was terrified.

It feel a little too short for me. And I don't really understood what happened at the stairs and and at the end.

You succeed to make me feel terrified all game long so.. good job I guess  .

The graphic is amazing, even the details like changing environment (opened windows) were super polished for me. I also like the mood of the game, I was really curios what the girl will find out, so I kept playing till the end!

Possible improvements:
- sometimes 'E' was displayed but you needed to move a bit left/right to make it work. The fact that it gets darker make this more problematic
- more puzzles

The movements were a little slow for me but I get it's part of the vibe. It shows that you put a lot of effort into the scenery/art and it really puts this game over compared to others because it looks really clean. I wish the title screen reflected that, but I get that it's not as important as the game itself

bathroom jumpscare was so short and also so funny
movement was slow and using flashlight just while u can move was hard

Cool! I won't be sleeping tonight! ;-)

I loved the game! The atmosphere was really inmersive and I really wanted to keep playing, so awesome job on that!

Some feedback:
- The main menu title is really hard to read.
- No in-game instructions / controls except for the "E" for interacting.
- When interacting with doors the interaction felt "lagged". Most of the time I pressed E and it take it "so long" that I would move and press multiple times until I get in.
- The audio for walking was a bit weird for me compared to other SFX ^^U (and this is very trivial, but it is also "weird" that it plays while jumping).
- I didn't understand the ending, but maybe it is part of the game's charm ;-)

Some questions
- Are the creedits looped on purpose?
- What is the red on the girl's face? Blood?

I just wanted to leave that feedback but I want to repeat that I loved the game and its atmosphere. Awesome job! ;-)

Very nice art and scary ambiance. The sound fit well this mood. I would say that the character is a bit too slow. And Sometimes the E interaction doesn't work. I had to leave E then go again then it works. It took me time to understand that I had to use the mouse to drag and drop the signs to resolve the puzzle in the chest. When the character is outside (near the swing) there's a shader problem I think (black on the sprite) and I was stuck at this part. Cannot understand what to do with the torch. Anyway. It is a very good entry. (Congrat for the wind effects with the open windows).

Really liked the art, and SFXs! The story was a bit short, and I would love to see some enemies.
