Nice mood, I also liked the artstyle. But I wonder - is there more to this than just waiting for the countdown and turning the valve? There were medkits, and gasmasks, and some alien rock... I just don't want to miss something.

Hi Korbinus, there are things around that you can click on for a brief background story etc., but what you have mentioned is the core gameplay. I’d love to do more with it with more time :)

i think i found a bug when you try egain after being cought the count down stays in place not go back to 5 min

Hi @owngamesgamer, that’s actually intended. If they have over 2 mins left when they fail, it goes back to what they had remaining. If they had less than 2 mins left, it goes to 2 mins. The reason being I suspected people would get impatient if they had to wait 5 minutes every time :)

At first I was confused on what to do, but then I started walking around and doing things and then I started more and more to understand what to do. This fit the theme very well. The walking animation was kinda wankey, and also the starting cutscene was very cool

Really nice! There's not much to do, but I feel like there's potential to expand on this with more time :) Love the atmosphere, graphics and sounds.

Really nice game the intro and voice acting really makes the game stand out compared to others. The voxel style is done well. I would love to see the game built further into a full story.

Very neat, especially the mood is awesome :)

A bit very short, but still nice. Superb!

Amazing graphical style and voice work. Game is quite short, and it was a little unclear that I just had to wait once I'd looked at everything.
I'd love to see a longer version of this.

Random thought, have you considered making something in Voxatron?
Your voxel art style would fit really well there!

Really liked the 3d pixel art style and the design of the alien. I was a bit confused about what to do, but that's ok! The world building was very fun and the whole thing was surprisingly polished.

Great work!

This was a really awesome experience! I went fullscreen on my browser right away and closed another program that made noise in the background because I was taken by your intro scene right away. You are really a great artist! I love the voxel graphics and you are a great voice artist! Is that guard the Windows narrator?! :-)

There are some technical issues as a game. When I walk left/right the animation is smooth and paced right. When I move up/down, I seem to walk backwards and only very slowly. Then there are only so many spots on the floor that I can click where I can walk. Why can I not use WASD or click anywhere to walk there?

As others have mentioned, I was a bit lost as what to do after I had red the documents. It seemed to me like I was supposed to light the red bottles to the right to distract the guard but that did not work. Eventually the countdown went down and by chance I saw the guard move so I quickly put on the gas mask and released the gas. There could have been more mechanics and more things to do but I see that your time went into creating this awesome world and atmosphere. This is really impressive for a 48 hour game jam! I really look forward to the next chapter of this game, I cannot wait to see what will happen and I want to know more about these gentle creatures! I really hope that you get to create a sequel to this next LD. I put you on my watchlist :-)

Thank you very much for this cool experience, great job!

Did you perform as all the voices? That's impressive!

This is so cool! Waiting for the timer was a bit rough when I accidentally gassed myself-but!
This has a really intriguing mood! I like the heavy cinematic feel of it. I'd love to see more.

The atmosphere and mood were very strong. It fit the theme nicely that you had to keep the one alien alive

Cool voxelart and use of orthographic camera. Voice acting was actually pretty decent, too. I had a hard time figuring out what to do, though. Nice story and atmosphere. Good work!
