Some bugs here and there, but very fun! I liked the typing aspect, maybe have increasingly longer strings of word to make it more difficult. Audio was spot on and added tons of life. Only critique is to give the background some love (when there's actual time to do that, ha) and fix the bugs. Great game!

Took me a minute to figure out what I was supposed to do, but I am now typing this comment at about 240 characters per second.

Found it hard to type special characters in an non-english standard keyboard.

But that was a funny gameplay and a really good idea.

Loved it!

Nice work. I would have liked some longer strings as your streak increased but it was a fun typing game. I liked your lose screen.

It turns out I can't type "Plausible Deniability" quickly if my life depends on it!

I love the game but I don't understand why I need to hold shift to type.. Seems unnecessary.. Effects are amazing tho.. Good luck ;)

@martintale You shouldn't have to hold shift to type. Was the input not registering unless you were holding shift?

Good game, maybe don't put special characters like "' xD but nice work
PD: nice Game over sound xD

@kythehuman It's actually working normally.. Jeez.. I think it was something else that prevented the input to register.. I don't know.. It works perfectly now and I really love the intro design ;)

The level of polish on this project is fantastic! I'll echo the above comments about the difficulty of special characters, and I would like to see a steadier progression to the difficulty. Starting off, I was not prepared for "Quacking Zephyrs". Overall, the game looks, sounds, and plays really well. Bonus points for the intro segment and voice acting!

Good idea. Quite hard. Would be nice if it would start easier.
And I am sorry, but I dont quite see the theme in here.
But still great work. It was fun to play.

Cool typing game! I definitely underestimated the time it takes me to type special characters. Messaging for incoming attacks was clear and successful inputs were satisfying. Good work.

Very polished - love the design and the humor. Particularly liked the SFX and the transitions when the new wave of bandits spawn in. Great job!

I like the visual Style I like the humor in the font you know I died I like the death music let's try this again. Okay maybe I'm not that good at typing nice it would be interesting if using the type things it tell the story oIC no I died this game was fun but I'm not big on typing game so it's for typing games it was a good one. I didn't feel a close attachment to the theme but the Western idea was nice and Graphics really cute I think the audio in the humour was there in that I laughed when I saw the ending and the puppies were a good touch

Nicely done. A very simple idea, cleanly executed. Took a second to figure out what to do, but after that it's fun.

Very cool, reminds of me of 'Typing of the Dead'. Sound design is excellent. Unfortunately I do not see the theme of the comp manifest in this game.

The graphics are pretty good. I didn't think I'd enjoy a typing game, but it did keep me engaged. Some of the words were a little tricky in the beginning, but I think that's because the phrases get randomly generated. I'd think that the game would start with simpler words first and then gradually increase in typing difficulty as you play. (maybe it already does that, I don't know, but I had trouble typing L.A. Deli due to the punctuation. Overall, I think it's a good entry. Best of luck! :)

Decent game, one of the better implementations of a typing game that I've seen. Could certainly do with some polishing of the gameplay (such as smoother implementation of levels, enemy reactions, etc.) and bugs to do with enemy placement. Graphics could be better, but I thought they served their purpose. I certainly liked the desert landscape you put in there.

I really liked the idea, it was a great implementation as well and I feel like it would only require some extra polishing. Music/soundtracks would also be a great addition to the game, as well as different levels to add variety. But for the jam It was a really great game!

The game is fun, for the gameplay remind me of Epistory - Typing Chronicles. I think it is a little bit too hard and there should be like a progression from easy to difficult, sometimes words are simply too difficult to type in no time. I love voxel/low-poly-based games. The sounds are awesome! The game has a lot of potential!

Nice game ! As a French user, I could even learn some new words x) I had a little trouble (that killed me actually x), the game couldn't recognize my "-" character (azerty keyboard), even if every other key worked. You might want to look that up ;)
Keep up the good work !

@haoro Thanks a ton for playing and for mentioning the hyphen character. I had no idea that different keyboards would recognize those characters differently! The things one learns when developing a typing game :)

Thanks for sharing! Had a lot of fun with this one. The typing wasn't responsive enough for me, I had to slow down a lot.Reading the text and absorbing it after I typed it really made me think. Do these people have feelings, thoughts? Are they really that bad? Wish the dialog revealed more about their backstory! Good job!

Great game!
The typing mechanic is implemented perfectly. The "song" when you die made me laugh
Great work!

Great work! I'm not the best at typing so I couldn't get very far but it looks nice and was executed well! I would have liked to see some sort of progression as I defeat bandits, like moving to the next train car because it just feels like I'd be typing forever. Anyway, great job!

oH My good this is hilarious! I like how the starting button said "Fun Game" and it really was! I had actually been dreaming of more games like these, ever since I learned to type with "Mario Teaches Typing 2"

I like the way that you took the theme and applied it to old school typing games. The texts were humorous and the game felt fun to progress in even though it was endless so great job!
