Cute, beautiful style. so fun to play. and the SFX really sold it!
I loved that the actual action all happens off screen lol

Wow that was fun! I couldn't stop playing for quite some time. You also definitely nailed the theme. One thing I would add is some kind of score or an end screen. I assume an end screen is hard with the current theme interpretation.

Really great game! The gameplay loop and concept are awesome. I loved the graphics and the music was great (although it was a little loud).
The only issue I encountered is the lack of variety. You can either fight goblins, skeletons or find a puzzle, and the dialogue is the same every time.

This game is better than my Dungeons and Dragons game. The sounds are really juicy and the fights are actually exciting (the first time through). It was also a great take on the theme. Good job!

Cons: I don't feel it really fit the theme much at all
Pros: Pretty much everything else

Nice Game. The punshing sound and screen shake really got me. Couldn't make it past the guy mumbling magic spells. Love it :D

Amazing game, The game is really fun and cool and the "loop" concept is very clear and makes the game what it is.

I had fun. The combat simulation thing is nice, although it seemed a bit easy and somewhat tedious to go through the entire thing over and over. But I guess thats the loop :_). The music was pleasant and the sound effects nice. Enjoyed the Gandalf reference in the end :) Well done!

That was a lot of fun. Would be good if the shopkeepers show you what you purchased, so you dont purchase the wrong items. :D ![screenshot11.png](///raw/0b3/21/z/38de6.png)

Can agree - would be nice to see which items you currently have.
Other then that - pretty fun little game

Excellent game ! I had tons of fun and it was satisfying to finish the dungeon. Ideas to improve : add a background image instead of a blue background !

Kinda easy, but fun to play. Leaved with 73/100 HP, maybe expensive items are kinda overpowered.

Nice job! I like the art! But it was a bit too easy

Wow that was really fun to play ! I think it was a little easy but it was still fun to just grind through the dungeon taking risks and defeating goblins. The idea of having the player go do it while you stay in the place with the shopkeepers was also a unique and creative idea. It could use a better inventory system so you can see which items you have and what they do, but great job!

Interesting game. I enjoyed playing it, but it would have been nice to have more variety, randomized encounters, and a chance of a really difficult fight at the beginning to keep you paying attention to the text.

Lovely graphics and music, loved the screen shake effect. Very addictive. Minor bug where the money counter at the top-right didn't update until I returned to the store. Great work!

I absolutely loved this game! The art, the animations, the clever way of keeping the action off camera, just a great experience overall! Awesome job.

I played it until the end because I liked the screen shake. Great job on the dialogs they were really funny.

My only negative is that the blue background hurt my eyes.

Stylish animation, dope music, loved DnD vibes.
But it would be great to see more variable options in combat mode!) All in all - great job!

I had a lot more fun with this than I initially thought I would. It is funny and witty. The graphics are awesome. The small touches like the screen shaking when you get hit are so good. I actually finished it and had a lot of fun doing it. If there is one thing I would change is a more obvious indication that the weaponsmith and the tailor each give you aitems for two separate slots (sword and shield, band and boots). If you are not paying much attention like me it is easy to miss that you can have both. I actually beat most of the game (minus the final room) without getting boots. This was a blast though, good job!

Great entry! Loved the art and sound effects. The comments are pretty funny too.

One thing that was a bit odd is the progression. I think it should have had a bit of randomness in the floor events. I just had to remember where I died and farm until that point without thinking.

But anyway, great game!

I played this far longer than I care to admit :joy:

That was a really really good game! :ok_hand:

The only (tiny) negative I have, is that I would have liked some kind of indication that I already bought something.
But, really, good game

This is an absolutely gorgeous game, and I really like the presentation overall. In an expanded version of this, I'd like to see a little more of a manageable UI for the shopkeepers, and a bit of a clearer presentation of which stats would be overwritten when purchasing items. I also think a dungeon screen with some awesome attack animations would be great, instead of having to stare at the shop keepers while you fight. All of this isn't really easy in the scope of a jam though, so what you've done is great!

Great execution, and also has a lot of potential. Are you planning on expanding on this, maybe? I'd love a minigame for each encounter, or something like that.

Smooth graphics, and the music and sound effects fit the game well. My only criticism is that once you get better gear, the first several events become almost meaningless, but you still have to click through to get to the more challenging events. A solid entry overall!

Very nice game. Pretty and sounds great. Don't know ow many floors there were but I guess it was endless? Anywho I got killed by a bunch of nasty goblins! Even my glass sword (?!) didn't help
Great job!

Wooow ! Making the looping battle off screen was a great idea !
The animations and chara design were gorgeous and the humour is a really nice touch ( a lot of Monthy Python references :stuck_out_tongue: )

It was innovative and fresh, bien ouej Jeremy !
