AstroJuice is a game developed for the Ludum Dare Game Jam based on the theme "stuck in a loop". Awesome! It's very fun, has to do with the loop theme and it looks cute! The only thing that is missing in my opinion is a victory screen.

I like this, I really do, and I will come back to play it again! Visuals, sounds, gameplay, level design.... there's a lot I can learn from :) One thing I had a tiny bit of trouble with was having to iterate four times when you don't manage an obstacle, then 4 times again... and again... certainly demanded some classic frustration tolerance ;)

Wow.
This is a fully fleshed game.
I was amazed by the main mechanic of having each character survive one element.
Really good.
The one feedback I have is that the glide (red character) is a little bit clunky.
Besides that, superb.

The graphics are great !
The menu is very functional.
The puzzle aspect was nice but it was a bit frustrating to have to cycle back to the same color as the transformations are slow. A nice addition would be to have a quick switch between colors when dying.
The sounds are fitting the game's cuteness.
Great game !

I love the animations for the little dudes is sick, overall the game is very well made my only criticisms is that there is no feedback for when you reach a checkpoint, cycling through the bois takes a fairly long time when you die.

The idea is nice, the game is quite hard .. changing color takes long. also if you mistake with one color you have to loop all the colors .

I loved the juice draining animation for when you loop through the characters, really just made me wanna do that the whole game... I had fun playing this game on stream!

I love it. I just wish there was a victory screen when you beat the game. Good game.

Really interesting idea for a game, and the sounds are very soothing and nice. However, some collisions were a bit annoying - like getting squashed by the things coming from the ceiling while standing really close to them.

Wow the character is so cute! I think my main complaint is that I felt like I was dying left and right by the smallest rectangular overlap with the blue ice. Instant deaths are not really that fun if you don't give a little bit of fudge room to the player. In the last section, for example, I was the Yellow character trying to reach the end and every time I jumped down I had to land perfectly between the two blocks of ice and very carefully not touch either block or I would have to death cycle to yellow again. I think there are a few approaches to take to improve this: (a) only count the block as touched if the player lands on the top of the block, (b) reduce the size of the hit-box for the block. Also, I wouldn't count death-cycling with Q to get back to the color you need to solve the puzzle (I ended with 74 "deaths", but in reality most of those are death-cycles to get back to the color I needed). Besides that, this is really awesome and worth expanding into a full game! Cheers.

Fun idea! Reminded me a bit of Trine series of games. Here's some random thoughts:
- Good job on tutorialization before the first checkpoint. It really taught you the core mechanics well
- I think the crushers didn't really fit the core loop. Since there was always just one correct boi to use, getting crushed meant you just had to kill the blue and red bois as fast as possible. This was especially frustrating when touching the side of a crusher killed you.
- I liked having the special ability on red. If you'll expand on the idea, I think giving everyone a special skill other than not just being killed by a color would be cool!
- The art style is nice and consistent!
