Feed the cat by Fractal

See the itch.io page for description/instructions.
Remarks - Write your high scores in the comments! On Easy I could probably go on forever (I stopped at 1000), and on Hard my best score so far is 179. - I’m usually more of a programmer, but this time I tried to make an effort as far as graphics are concerned. It was the first time I used Krita/used a graphics tablet/drew a cat (let alone animate it), and I am quite happy with how the cat and the can of food turned out. There are animations missing though (getting up/lying down/turning around/dying) because of lack of time.
Edits since submission - Fixed small bug in how score is computed - Tweaked "Hard" difficulty level to make it less impossible

The cat was really well animated. And it was really cute him at the bottom getting food while I worked for it ahah
My one advice was to give some simple shadows to the cat and the room, I think it would make them pop a bit since they already look pretty cute as is.
Are the cans 3D? I really like how they spin around. Great job!
The graphics look good and the game is quite difficult (at least on hard mode)
At first i thought : "This is way too easy", then the room was filled with empty food cans and it got a bit more challenging to clean everything so the cat could eat. But in easy mode, I could have gone forever as well, i stopped at ~500.
But Hard mode was really hard and challenging, i only got 92 at best.
Good job !
The cat AI was trolling me a few times I think, it would start going for one can, then it would switch directions to another can for no apparent reason and starve. :'(
The physics work really well. An option for a light explosion would allow for some skilful juggling.
I’ll make sure to play all of your games, as long as they have an HTML5 or Linux version.
@kiguel182
I did try to put some shadows and highlights on the cat itself, but I just realized now that I completely missed drop shadows, it didn’t even occur to me for some reason :smile: But otherwise yeah, I know I have a problem with shadows and lighting, I have to figure out how that works.
And no, the cans are not 3D, I just drew 8 different sprites and I choose the appropriate one depending on the angle.
